Good you started the thread. Would also advice you to post the pics of your bike, so that you may get more inputs on the build. Also plan a detailed strategy on what you will be doing with engine, ex., which cylinder, which head, which carb etc etc....

    Good Luck.

        Welcome to RXing.
All the best for your rebuild. It takes lot more than spares and money to rebuild these money pits
Patience is the key of RX rebuild. Keep on doing Yoga when stuck anywhere, It does helps

Make sure you get it rebored at some reputed shop who do know what they are doing. Ask them if they will be measuring the clearances with feeler gauge or dials because most of the shops do it with trial and error method .
I faced this thing and it feels really bad later when piston rattles just after 1 week of rebuild.

Ask them to properly chamfer the ports after rebore for longer piston ring life.
If going for a rebuilt crank then do go for DT125 conrod (Expensive but worth it). OE ones are next to impossible to source. Get it dynamically balanced(Look out for shops who have this facility) and you are good to go

Are those 3.00 you using for the front tire?
