@Ram : Great to see the pics in color and the outcome is wonderful.

I notice a darker maroon on the bike though, is this the original color?
Also recently i was looking around for fork legs on the RX series and found that the later 135(2005 and above) have a cleaner fork leg i.e. without the drain screw at the end. Did the 5 speed also have this or did you have it changed. Cause i see few 5 speeds with the new type fork leg and flat boot cap here in Bangalore.

              Just a query.

Ram, here are some of my points:
                1. You have cromed the Clutch-Covers, but not the chain case. Please remember these two have to be of similar colour, else it catches attention immediately.
                2. Good selection of IND boards.
                3. Do i see a WIESCO sticker on RH clutch casing !!!!! Looks good though.
                4. Regarding that black 5-speeder, the RH cover is that of a Original 5-speed, but LH is of 4-speed !!!! Uniformity would be better.

Thats it from my side, yet again a new RX is born.

Thanks Asif. The shade I've re-painted is "Wine Red" that came in stock 135 5s, whereas the 4s ones came in Maroon. Regarding the fork legs, mine came with the drain nut and so did all the 5 Speeders. Might be the few ones you've seen might have changed to the one's without the drain nut.

Thanks for the input Karthik. I've got an another spare chain case covers which is already in the plating process, will be with me in a day or two that will go in the bike. Ya, that's a Wiseco Sticker The black 5 speeder belongs to a fellow Bhpian Deepak, and yes, he's in the process of procuring the spares including the clutch covers of 5s.

Yamaha RX 5 speed outer fork legs are interchangeable with CRUX ones I guess (They don't have drain nut).

More interesting stuff, TVS STAR front shockups and Fender are same as Yamaha RX ones.

                      Make a comparison yourself

Good find mate. Btw. if someone wants to change their fork legs, my suggestion would be the Gladi's as in future they can easily go for a disk set-up in the same one, rather changing it once again.

                        • ^^ except that i would recommend using a thicker oil in the forks, as the gladiator front has excessive travel in comparision to the RX forks.

Thanks for clarifying that Jd. I thought Motul Fork oil would suffice.
