If you are asking about Manohar - He is one hell of a mechanic, the kind of knowledge he has on 2 strokes is awesome...he has become a drunkard and not sure if he alive also...Come through Nirmala College & once u cross Kannan Dept Store & Aryas, there will be a very old huge bunglow and after that there would be a small lane just adjacent to a T Shop, immdly after entering the lane you will see a car mechanic, this guys is just before that. (Anybody in that area would know Manohar) he had been there for donkey's years.

About Scrapyard, as far as i know you get almost everything in Ukkadam. once you move from Ukkadam bus stand towards Kuniamuthur, just before the Indian Oil petrol pump take the left and it goes to the scrap yard. Dont take your two wheeler there. Once you go inside the market you will feel that you are in a alien land. go further and (cant explain the path inside as not sure how it looks now) ask for Yamaha Salim or Musthafa Bai (If im not mistaken - Not able to recollect the name exactly), there would be a very old person (Not sure if he is still there) he had almost everything. If not, there would be other guys who has spares and you can just walk through to see the item which you are looking for is available.

Manohar is very great in 2strokes he is one among specialist for yezdi's as mentioned he became a drunkard and not sure whether he s taking in bikes ..

Good that somebody remembers Manohar...u know I used to sit with him for hours together to get my Yezdi's / RX done. Once he gets in a good mood, he would do like mad, but if he does not feel good, even the best of the things would not make him work.

Unbelievable this guy...once my CL2 was completely done and assembled, he is used to let it run idle for hours with oil, after everything we thought the bike is in great shape and am going to ride it, he was unhappy with the timing, he again dismantled and he never let it till it reached perfection.

Hes an amazing tuner in Coimbatore...as far as i knew. He used to be Mr. Bose Sir's mech too.

Old market is not at all reliable. I hate going to tat place from the day i was given a damaged break slieve when i bought a hub for my rx-z a year back. I took it back when my mech found tat it was a piece of crap. Since my bike was in the making i wanted to check the run with a unicorn chase which i had installed before the remake. I was using the unicorn chase for some months. So went to buy a hub for the 18 rim tires to get fixed. He gave me a damaged hub but when he showed me it was all fine. covered it with newspaper and handed me the useless thingy....... bunked my coll and had to go back to return and he started saying sum stories that he doesnt keep any damaged piece in his godown by any chance and refused to take it back saying it wasn't given from his shop. He sold the stuff to me himself just about 24 hours back from the time of return and started building up suspicious claws over my return.


I just put the stuff down in his shop and without speaking a word headed staright to ADITYA and got hub for 600 and resumed the work. I didnt even ask him the money i had paid ( 200) for the hub.Even if yamaha stops the supply of spares i wont look back to step inside old market anytime in my life. I swear!!! lolsss

Yes they are the guru's of Yezdi's hope you heard of Mani called as "switch Mani" my uncle is a Yezdi addict and he used to tell a lot of stories about him.
Sundarraj, Switch Mani and Manohar are the trio stars for Yezdi's and RD-350's. It is a curse for Yezdi mechanics to become a drunkard Switch Mani passed away years back.. Manohar is not working the only man left is Sundarraj his workshop is opposite to (Senthil_Kumaran theatre) when I go that way I still admire a workshop full of Yezdi's and RD's

Some one has got the same bike for sale on the internet. It was so funny even the bike picture and description matched. I guess he is a die hard fan of Yamaha that he is seen on Quickr.com. Lol

It was posted long back when the bikes work had finished. I wanted to register it in cbe registration but unfortunately it was not possible for me to get the process done cos of some personal reasons. Btw i am not fond of making money by selling my ride. The bike is now being shipped to port blair for paper works. If i was so conscious abt money making i wudnt have shipped to my hometown from pb for registration purpose. It will cost me arnd double the rate of which the brokers here in cbe demand for registration changing.

Bro pls be sure abt the news you have first before u pen it down here. How do u know that i am selling my bike for money?? Let me not be very harsh. You may be a rich Father's son that u wish anething and u get it in a flash. I make bikes for the reason that i am fond of rx. ....... not for making money. I spent nearly 45k in total including everything and do u think i am a fool to sell it for 40k?????......... Mind ur words before u speak man!!!! Go and check with the port blair rto . You'll see my bike papers lying der making no progress cos my bike is not in pb. For that reason i am shipping the bike to pb........ It has already cost me 7k till now. And more over i cannot imagine how much it wud cost me in future for the damages that my bike will have after it arrives in pb. ............ You know to sit back at home and make comments over my ad. I dont believe u r my batchmate dude. You could have called me up for confirming the news. In fact next month ull get to check out evry bike of mine i made in pb urself. There's hardly anyone these days who don't inflate the price of spare parts & try to cheat people in the name of help I hope those people loose the money & in life more than what they make out of those money by conning people!!!

Can you please get me an RX135 Piston-Cylinder Kit for the MRP last sold by YASS. Oh i also need the invoice copy for the same, i am willing to come to Chennai on my bike to collect the same. Hope you can help.

Request not to start another string of posts. We all know that RX135 cylinder kit is not available even with old time stockists. Peace!
