    LOL dude those HRC or whatever cans u put on em 4 strokers are pure crap and do nothing for the bike except make a racket and thats why ur mileage doesnt drop much....u obviously have no clue what expansion chambers do to 2 strokes its like adding a turbo to a superbike...again i cant explain it to u..u've gotta ride and find out for urself...another thing...even though the protons are just about as good as u can get in the indian commercial scene...a well made custom pipe will make the protons look like utter crap....lets no get carried away and start arguing that u can even mod the indian 4 strokes to perform anywhere near the modded 2 strokes...coz u simply cant..not even the factory race bikes can..take it from someone whos in the racing scene and knows what hes talking about..LOL path breaking performance !!! ??? pulsar touching 142kmph !!!...gimme a break ..LMFAO...oh and about the environment...u r sooo right man..i've seen the light now...i'll go home and burn my 2 stroke coz i'm giving ppl lung cancer....sheeeesh

        if u have any friends in WB, particularly Darjeeling Dist. or even better Sikkim - ask their opinion!
        Also, more fuel burnt in the chamber = more power, get the basics right pal!

          Sheesh, what a waste, a 2t bike giving ppl lung cancer! like the ppl were breathing directly from the exhaust pipe of an rx. Fact is that 2strokes are light, simple, and can be modded easily, even if you put a not so good design exp chamber on a bike, u'll feel the difference. Let alone the ones designed by experts.
          4stroke bikes in India suck(although i ride a 180), honestly. Abroad, the 4stroke bikes have inline4 and vtwin engines running 11:1 compresion, and displacement higher than most hatchbacks sold here. most bikes there produce more than 100bhp, here few 'premium' cars produce that power.
          2 stroke bikes are being phased out to meet growing emission norms, but till then lets enjoy them.

            And as far as modding is concerned u are a frog in a well. Not only 2-s but 4-s can also be modded to deliver ya path-breaking(eat that baby) performance.
            As far as expansion chambers are concerned, u r narrow minded which is clear so u also made assumption abt some-one elses knowledge. Soooooo foolish.

              I agree with Killer and Rohit, for the sole reason that 4sts in India can't compare to the real 4sts abroad! The P180 and ZMA are just cheap imitations! I take that back, the ZMA is a cheap imitation. The P180 I respect. But that apart, the things you can do a 2st you cannot even imagine of doing to a 4st w/o royally screwing the engine! All in all, 2st tech has been around much much longer than 4st tech, that in itself should be enough!

                      Hi,

                      This topic is becoming bloodier. I shall not post here any more. Already i have broken one rule.
                      All love their bikes. Whether 2-s or 4-s. Enjoy u'r bike and ride safe.

                        Make one thing clear in ur mind that comparing a 2S with a 4S is simply cracking ur brain 2wards creative stupid thinking ! Its just like comparing 2 BLOOD GROUPS.... which one is better.......
                        Its all about matter of Taste so go on with wut suits u.......u don't come and tell in public about ur family right? nor do u speak about others family ....same thing treat ur bike as a family ...u will be happy with it forever.

                          I have a Yezdi Roadking..the ONLY thing I don't like about it is the smoke it belches out! Positively embarassing!

                          Ehud man...you seen to have a fascination for Dirt bikes..cuz I also read your earlier posts about modifications where you also said something about raising the suspension? Why do have this thing for fiddling with the ride height? If anything you should fiddle with the damping characteristics(did I spell it right? don't look righ to me!).

                          Is it because the roads in your city are bad? Because keep in mind that raising the ride height adversely impacts the bike's handling which feels a lot more top heavy.

                          I'm not trying to pick a fight here....just wanted to know why you talk bout raising the suspension all the time.

                              words flow here like the tons of carbon flowing into our atmosphere...no one can stop typing, close their eyes, go thousands of years back and take one gulp of fresh air, and see what earth was, the way god meant it to be, we have d e s t r o y e d it. we cant have it back, not in an eon. now its the turn of our future generations to suffer. weak muscles, cancers, mutant offsprings, no fuel, no oxygen, no love. no humans. no life. and then the earth wil wait for thousands of years to pass, layers and layers of rocks depositing on our civilizations, making us fossils.

                              and yet, we will not spend a penny to save the earth. becuase who cares? we still can breathe. it doesent matter if we have to travel an average of 1000 kms to get that 50% fresh air in the mountains, the same which was possible in your courtyard a 1000 years back.
