Update is that ki bike is still in dismantled state. I think i should have put it in the title ki it's a long tern restoration plan

Phir bhi, as of now ordered the following parts:
      1. Headlight assembly
      2. Wiring kit
      3. Entire body kit
      4. Oem shogun stickers

Will post pics as soon as I get the parts, not yet opened engine as no funds to start work on it anyways. Giving the frame for paint work on monday

Wish you all the best man

Shogun was the first bike I ever liked from my childhood days.. I even learnt riding on it. I just love this machine.. Cant wait to see it coming back to its full glory man

Just small suggestions.. use quick throttle setup to make this beast even more meaner and an expansion chamber specially made for shogun

Thanks a lot for the wishes and advice bro about the quick throttle setup, I don't mind putting it as I have one by motion pro lying around somewhere.

The expansion chamber I am not really very eager about it as the bike still has the stock exhaust and surprisingly irrespective of the bikes tattered condition this is still intact and only needs some cleaning, plus I am kinda looking forward to the original exhaust note

Nice to see a Shogun rebuild coming up after a long time here. Do keep us updated whenever you start the rebuild. Get the bike transferred to your name asap and then think of starting the rebuild process. meanwhile you can start making a list of parts you'd need and locate them. Btw, Shogun was launched in April 1993. Till then it was the Supra PowerUp from 1990-1993. Your RC book could have some misprint or wrongly entered information. Reconfirm the RC details at the local RTO.

P.S- Clutch is different for the Shogun. Only plates are common for all the models.

Did you have yo get any work done on it?

Also did you face any problem with regards to transfer of documents?

                            Hi again,
as far as paper work is concerned it took only half an hour after the purchase to get it transferred to my name. went straight with all the papers and it was mine by afternoon.
and i dont really believe in complete rebuilds anymore i only look for bikes with stock immaculate condition (and ive been really lucky twice )

here is the pic of what i had got on day one
                            Kinetic Honda (1997)
                            Suzuki Shogun (1998)
