      Update:-

Was able to get the required spares and got the bike running today. Gladiator disc all the way!

      Observation/ Trouble:-

      1. When the throttle is closed while running or at signal, it takes time returning to idle rpm.
      2. Lot of smoke (thats due to slightly more 2T oil)
      3. Lot of noise from the bore, need to check what really is.

        Update:-

I'm using the bike for last two days, the heavy roaring idling faced earlier is slowly mellowing down. Still my front gladiator disc set up is not freely moving the wheel. Currently the front wheel has a jugaad bearing collar. I'm still looking for bearing collar and dust cover of Gladiator.

Another significant issue showed up. Guess I need to readjust the timing as there are some small electrical short like sound emitting from the head area.

Planning to trouble shoot coming weekend.

Nice to hear about the mod. How about the power difference you felt?

And regarding the electrical short sound, its because Head is not seated properly on block. Causes might be Loose nuts on the head or Packing might not be proper.

Will be hunting around GP Road for my RX spares this weekend. Should I look around for the required gladi parts?

                  Update:-

                  Good and the bad....

Bad is, front wheel is not ok. When PSR Sir (PSR), Vijay Daniel (vijaymeyou)and myself met up, examined the front wheel why it is catching up so it won't rotate freely. Initially thought it was the disc set up. Well, we removed the caliper and examined and everything seem ok. Again, when we put it back found to be tight and won't freely rotate.

We checked up the axle and speed worm gear if that is anyway affecting the free movement. To our surprise, we found that the collar bearing which is a jugaad, is slightly short of size that it caught hold of the fork legs tight. We tried using the washers to see if that could be of any help and nothing succeeded. Then while we gave up the idea for now until we get the Gladiator collar bearing, thought would run, so went for a spin and boom..the front wheel started to make a sound. This time it is the wheel bearing. There happened to be a gap between both the wheel bearings and spacer was moving freely. Inspecting the wheel bearing from one end found that the bearing has gone kaput and when I tried to rotate, it was uneven movement and not loose as if it broken internally.

So I'll need to wait for Wheel collar to come and then only I'll be able to go fix the bearings. Till then RX115 will have to wait.

                      Good news is ......

I also checked another issue which was bothering me..ie sputtering while in lower rpm. RX115 runs on VM22 carb with 17.5 pilot and 120 main jet. While converting to 115, had checked and kept the needle in the middle position. But he vehicle used to roar in idle that i had to almost close air screw in order to make it smooth. Also the plug color showed rich but again i thought till run is over let me not play with AFR. We changed the pilot jet to 20, viola! The rpm lowered and was able to open up air screw and adjust AFR. Now the engine revvs smooth while throttling and no sputtering at all.

I'm eagerly waiting for Mr. Boss reply.

Is the carb atomiser different than rx135 vm22?

I'm still searching for Gladiator front wheel collar.
