Re: RD350 Phoenix
Ok guys sorry to keep you all waiting.i know the anger one has over dead threads but an unfortunate turn of events kind of ruined the mood.actually what happened is that thinking of NCR mechanics to be more professional i took my engine only to be rebuilt by a mechanic in Gurgaon(wont give the name).he charged me a bomb told me he has ported it,tuned it and it was fine.i brought it back and got it started and would you believe it !?the pistons started rattling!!!!anyway i got the top end disassembled and lo and behold a typical Delhiite thuggi(no offence). He had mismanaged the piston bore clearences and i could actually run another oversize piston than the one i had.and to add insult to injury no porting and listen to this one cylinder HT one LT!!!!I am out of exclamation marks now.to top it all he stopped responding to call and messages.anyway good luck to him.so put things on hold and now after tear down engine being put together again.sorry again for the delay.Originally posted by vimalnair4u View Post

Re: RD350 Phoenix
Folks i understand your curiosity but still i do not want to be petty,i think most people can guess but I aint gonna name him.this guy claimed to be all knowing about the RD but what actually hurts much more than the money is that he did not even have the decency to call and say sorry after breaking my trust( classis case of chori upar se seena zori).Lesson learnt grass is always greener on the other side.always take a local mechanic and sit beside him and have things done or have it done from the US,can be trusted blindly.Originally posted by Bibhu View PostDo you mind mentioning the names of these mechanics, please?

Re: RD350 Phoenix
Don't expect sorry from this mechanic becuase he won't say sorry, it's very hard to find a decent mechanic(bhoose mein needle dhoondne jaisa), anyhow what are you thinking of next doing with your RD.Originally posted by biker_350 View PostFolks i understand your curiosity but still i do not want to be petty,i think most people can guess but I aint gonna name him.this guy claimed to be all knowing about the RD but what actually hurts much more than the money is that he did not even have the decency to call and say sorry after breaking my trust( classis case of chori upar se seena zori).Lesson learnt grass is always greener on the other side.always take a local mechanic and sit beside him and have things done or have it done from the US,can be trusted blindly.

Re: RD350 Phoenix
Hi biker_350
Read your post and can see the enthusiasm and the adrenaline rush you are going through each day of your life to give your 350 a beating heart. And so sorry for you got cheated by a cheap mechanic from Gurgaon. Being a machine head myself I know the pain you must have had in your heart after facing this.
I would suggest you one thing: DO NOT TRUST ANY MECHANIC
But now I would contradict my own statement. If you are from Delhi, I can suggest you one Real Mechanic of RD 350. I am not asking you to trust him. I am asking you is that you can rely on him. But that can happen only if you are from Delhi, because if you ll send your bike to him, I would recommend you to visit him atleast twice in a day.
That gut has built tonnes of RD350 and has made for Celebs like John Abraham and M S Dhoni.
I guess by know xBHPians would be knowing that whom I am talking about.
Good wishes to for your beast.

I think I might be going nuts or something.the volume of parts I have collected just experimenting would put any shopaholic women to shame(no offense ladies).first ordered a newtronics ignition.some bloke put EFI and injected Nitrous into my head and I lapped up MZB(EFI and NOS injection require programming possible only with MZB and a laptop) and Newtronics went into the storage.the EFI and NOS system would be coming soon.Last edited by biker_350; 12-02-2014, 09:32 AM.

Re: RD350 Phoenix
What issues are you facing? There's an easy way to upload 30 pics at once, each being less than 6 MB, provided your java/jre is up to date.Originally posted by biker_350 View PostA request to XBHP team to make the uploading of multiple pics less of a PITA!!!
