Re: Restoring a Enfield Explorer.......help required!!!
The painting was done and left to dry in ambient temp as this is a small paint shop actualy my mehaniv told we will not disassemble thr parts and give it for paint rather just make the bike stand and paint it so that it becomes cheap as well as it has the parts intact without getting missed.Rx 100 1986

Whoa buddy. Don't go for cheap. :O
You want your bike to last at least 5-10years right? If you go for cheap stuff the bike will start falling apart again to the point where you'll start loosing interest in it. And then at one point it'll start rotting in a corner again.
Btw the pic's broken again

Re: Restoring a Enfield Explorer.......help required!!!
Balgi you nailed it your right thats why i told him not to do that and hence i have asked him to do like a regular restoration 😊 thats why you guys can see the frame seprately painted and as of not only these parts which i have posted has come from the painter i have told him to take his time as its been raining here for the past 4-5 days so he has told me after the sun is shining bright he would start the remaining aprts I am OK with it ☺️ any how still hunting for parts 😵😵😵Originally posted by Balgi View PostWhoa buddy. Comming to the bike ya this was manufactured by Enfield India near now Chennai. This was basicaly a bike made in Germany by a Company Named Zundapp they still hold the 50cc top speed record in some class they where basicaly 50cc bikes LC and was focused at college going students in germany they had a rule that 50cc motercyle has no need of a driving licence so these bikes where famous in schools and college goers.Rx 100 1986
