40 is way too high for 190 it will be too rich and on your bike with no cdi kit i dont think you need that size jets, i know that your bike had those, i got mine from economy cycle us, local stuff are after market junk,, UNI is any day better in any weather conditions As long as you're not submerged, you'll be okShoot with a Nikon..Drive a Chevy..Ride a Yamaha

I have Rdd analogue cdi kit on the bike, now running 40/190 from Hvc..me too on uni twin pods. On the rich side at the moment, will revisit the jetting soon after running in. what about my query on the petrol tube ?Last edited by satishg; 09-14-2015, 01:16 PM.

it is the fuel line used for carbonator operated cars, do you have a splitter or have oe fuel tap. based on that choose the pipeShoot with a Nikon..Drive a Chevy..Ride a Yamaha

hi brother,
SHE LOOKS LIKE BILLION BUCKS.........

Many many congratulations on such an amazing and the most special success. You have proved to everyone, especially here on xbhp, that when there is a will, there is always a way. This is the most special and the most original and sincere rebuilds I have ever seen in my entire life.
Doing research for 1 year and understanding even the minute of details, and then ,shipping parts from around the world, detailing for even the smallest of nuts and bolts, maintaining honesty and sincerity in your work, and most importantly--keeping the patience---all these attributes make this project-- the most successful and original rebuilds in our country. So many people dream of owning an RD-350, and so many more dreams of owning the U.S.spec RD. But they don't want to work hard for it. They just give money and get the bike and act as a poser in front of everyone.
But you have earned it. You get the respect of everyone, especially here on xbhp. This is the most iconic bike in the entire world. There is no other bike like an RD, and there will never ever be another RD. Your sweat, hard work and patience have finally paid off. She looks like billion bucks. And we all are so happy to see the U.S.spec. Yamaha RD-350 made in INDIA and made by an INDIAN.
Just saw the video on youtube and the sound of those twin cylinders are pure symphony to the ears. I feel proud to be the first one to comment on that..
.CONGRATS......
WELL DONE BROTHER.....REALLY WELL DONE.....CONGRATS.....

CHEERS........

have done around 350 miles post the build.. waiting to complete 600 miles to let the run-in be smooth... cant wait to open the throttle beyond 5k Rpm.. :clint:
as of now i have just started to learn that the engine is gettingbetter and smoother mile by mile

Re: My race derived 350..THE ZRM 9445.. Project in Progress
was away for a while guys,, it has been around 5 Months that i have completed the project and thought it is all,, trust me guys she has taught me so much after the build,, little things that bother ,, struggle to understand what is wrong.... starting from the ignition system to the tuning part ,, every time i take her for a ride i learn a bit that can be better and i have been working on it.
i have completed 621 Miles , around 1000 km . and now i see a great change ,,, runs butter smooth, i at times wonder what is going on in side that mighty engine,, how on earth you run so smooth ,,no vibration, no misfire ,, running on perfect timing .. i know i was able to sort out all this at the cost of Time and effort.. have tried multiple combination of Jetting both Pilot and Mains,,, adjusting the air system,, drop in to pods...
like many rd's do i have noticed a bit of oil leak and glad i was able to fix it in no time ,, replacing the oil seal..
when it comes to the review .. i would say she has transformed to an addiction from just being a motorcycle, i know the fuel efficiency is not some thing i can really comment on as the motorcycle is fully based and used US spec parts, with NGK bp7hs plugs i am offered a decent 14-16 kmpl.
i have some bits and tweaks coming from the United States and United Kingdom , will be adding them on to the bike as i have just done the 1k on odo , i will be adding them one by one
when it comes to the cosmetic care i have procured all the best stuff and will do post a video on detailing work and how i do
sorry on the delay ,, few of the folks here asked me for the exhaust mount bracket design , i will be posting them soonShoot with a Nikon..Drive a Chevy..Ride a Yamaha
