    Just a piece of suggestion.
    Cover the entire floor with cardboard, I had a bad experience in past in breaking floor tiles by dropping the spanner.

          Rear mudguard and wheel attached to chasis.. Progress of work is slow, but enjoying each n every bit. Thanks to seniors for the reference n support ..

                    great, you have been much far than a normal DIY guy, the electrolysis is taking things to the next level, how are you going to seal the tank? rust will return the moment it goes back to active duty.

                    If I was you I would have done this before painting as chances of getting pin holes is high with such a process.

                    anyways great knowledge sharing. All the Best.

                        Thanks Pramod. No idea n not yet decided regarding sealing.. Since painting was done four years back, had no other choice..

                          Day 2. Not much happy with the electrolysis result.. Achieved 70 percent result from expected.. Think its enough rusting.. Will move to engine work..

                            The biggest issue with a rusted tank is it will take out the fuel tap, fuel filter and most importantly the carburettor. its advisable to go for a new tank.
