keihin pe 28mm , 39 pilot , 108 main jet , air/fuel screw half turn out(or else will have hanging idle) , needle at 2nd position,,wont start cold without using choke, i have a 180 degree bent air filter cone type.

i dont know about the rx , but the main jet of the honda tmx 155cc is just 102 , and the rx is just 135cc , i dont see the need for bigger main jet , but can someone shed some light

Can anyone shed more light on this PLEASE
That was the only reason I did not get this babe. I think it's perfect for me.
    Also, is this bike reliable?
Compared to KTM and Royal Enfield? Quality, engine, etc.

Also what gives more mileage 4speed or 5speed
i think its possible , my school is 15 kilometers , 1 round trip is 30 kilometers, and i only put 1 liter of gas on my rx and i still get home with some remaining gas enough to go the nearest gas station which is 5 km away. so yea its like 35km/l , and i am using a big 28mm carb

        Thanks man

The 165 main jet of a mikuni is just the equivalent of around 104 in the main jet of keihin , i have a 102 main jet and compared it to 145 mikuni and the keihin main jet have a bigger hole than the 145 mikuni .

Here is the video , 39 pilot jet bike wont start without choke , air fuel screw just half turn out any turn further will just make the bike have hanging idle

Do i need a bigger pilot jet?

yeah bro , it actually run for 60 km(2 round trips from school) without any transmission oil lol and when i rebuilt the engine there are only a small amount of aluminum metal shavings in the drained around 50ml of black dirty oil

you need both a bigger main and pilot jet , as for your observations on the comparison between the mikuni and keihin jets you need to check out the equivalence table attached below

That chart is way off , its not real , you should see the jettings yourself in real life bro , trust me. My spark plug reads brownish/black , im only lean at the idle circuit or the pilot jet but the main jet 108 is actually like 180 in a mikuni the reason is mikuni uses a thinner needle to compensate for the smaller hole

              read

theres different jet types for different carbs , roundslide/flat/d-slide , cvk carbs, fcr , these chart can not cover all of that , and its impossible bro at 105 main jet when i crack the throttle full , it just sputters and die , replaced it with a 100 main jet , it will rev high but wont really reach , it just makes the boo-wang sound which is the indicate that it is lean , i do plug reads bro , its impossible trust me

Hello, I'm sorry if it's off topic. But how much mileage does one normally get on Rx 135 4speed if he or she rides at 50-60km speed and mostly in the city? I know it's a performance bike but I don't ride fast. I just like the bike.

Riding at 60kmph doesn't matter, how (quick) you reach there matters a lot.
Mechanically sound RX135 with correct carb tuning (AF ratio) will deliver around 40 kmpl for a sedate rider. I'm always getting a little over 40 kmpl, with my driving style (50~60 kmph)

Same bike can be tuned to get close to (or little over) 50 kmpl, but that isn't recommended for an RX

Anyone knows where can i find replacement for this to make my speedometer work , do the speedometer needs electricity to work? right now i dont have it connected to the harness.
Anyone even if it came from another bike more modern is better because parts is easier to find?

Bro let me explain how the meter works.
There is a small ring inside near the front wheel hub known as speedometer pinion. When the front wheel rotates the pinion rotates which in turn is connected to the speedometer cable. When pinion rotates it will rotate the cable. When the cable rotates it will rotate the needle in the speedometer which is connected to it.
Now remove the front wheel and check which is fault and replace it. And for your info,a speedometer doesn't need electricity to work. When you're removing the wheel make sure you don't mess up with the brakes.
                                Hope this helps you.
