My Shogun......
Yes picked one 1993, was still running on STD STOCK bore & ART factory fitted pistons....as usual with broken plastics and aftermarket wheel rimsOriginally posted by powertwin View Post
Okay fine Doc!! if you feel so....I'll stop comparing here
Even i have told in my previous post>>>" All these bikes have qualities that are very attractive, there isn't any one bike that is decidedly superior to the others in every aspect.each of them has its own distinctive features......"
But thought of comparing their features in various categories.....hm!! may be a old trend.....
Sorry a big G.gap may be!!!
Thank you drift for the specs.of the machine....which I have decided to pick one & feel it
Planned to blue print the engine...lack of time (just pistons replaced after 1 st OS boring)...with some good tires etc...
My feel about a Stock Shogun will be revealed after my Engine blue printing

Nikhil, the SS was available only for rally and motocross teams . The 16 bhp SS kit could be specially ordered from TVS -SUZUKI which had the 16bhp bore , head and gas filled rear shocks . The bore was larger in size and had bigger reeds that were seen on the Shogun later.Originally posted by nikhils View Postsorry to hijack the thread again

As I was bit old for these New Gen bikes ( for me
), though 'am not sure about the inside story of SUPRA SS, but for sure...it din't have GAS filled Shock absorobers., the rear Shocks was pure hydraulic, but pretty much Stiffer& bit taller than the Supra SS
I have not ridden the Supra SS, but it(SS Shocks) was have fitted in a Gladiator of my Friend.....It was much more stiffer than I thought.....it was bone shaker in Yamaha Gladiator
.....think still one of my friend haves it....will try to catch up with him & post the pics
