So, if I understood you right, you're using a stock carbs, 4 speed stock cylinder (assume), with no expansion chamber (assume) & no mods to the rear wheels that is able to clock 120 Kmph with 50ml of 2T oil.
Is this ^^^ right?

What about the carbs? Is it TM? What's the main jet size?Originally posted by vikywanted View Postmine is 4s..i use 16 /34 sproketing.. rear is wheel 3.00*18 ( i put bullet spokes for rear .. adds weight , looks and shiny too
) every thing else is stock ..
first set u r engine then find out how fast u can go at each gear .... i don't think 120 will be a problem since u have 5 speed ..
Means, when you said you're using JetX for your Rx, could you get one for us.Originally posted by vikywanted View Posti dint get u there

You know? I just adjusted the idle screw little bit & the sputtering has come down. Any clue as what's going on inside the carbs?
Regarding Yamdoot's & your recommendation, I'll do it this weekend. I'll get the size of jets also.

go down on main jets by size of 10's, else another cheap option the needle slot to th top most position.
the needle position goes like this, there would be five slots.
1) center position neutral (neither rich nor lean)
2) the two slots above the center is leaner and leanest.
3) the two slots below the center position is richer and richest.

@vicky - the gear indicated on the speedo generally indicate the optimum range as per the speed, that which gear should be used when and at what speeds.
a stock 135 4S/5S anything wont do 120kmph true, maybe speedo indicated, or on a long enough downhill section, but not under its own steam.

I take normal for wheel rims - fineOriginally posted by vikywanted View Post.... na man i use normal one ..go for jettx no probs
How about the jet size? Air filter?
I'm aching to get Jetx (actually quite a few on this forum), could you pls source few litres (yes few litres) for us pls? I hope you don't mind helping fellow xBhpian
And yes, what about your sprocketing? What're the size your running on?

yes it reduces friction .. 50 ml is enough ... until u set u r engine .. go for 60 ml only when u r doing top speed .... na man i use normal one ..go for jettx no probsLast edited by vikywanted; 08-03-2010, 09:52 PM.

this is my old seedometer(new ones dont have this
) as u can see it is clearly given when to change gears . if u change according to that u'll reach 120 ... u r rx is 5 speed right ...??

@Vicky - Castrol 2T - you mean Jetx?
Ok, so what happens if I mix 60ml? Can I expect more output due to even less friction? Any idea?

aargee and kb100 u both r correct
the basic thing is mixing more oil reduces the friction between piston and barall so..
1. the out put is little more
2. at high throttle less friction and runs smoothly
3. this also sets u r engine good
i use castrol 2t
