Err...no I guess...see the previous postOriginally posted by kb100 View Posti think what he means is that giving more throttle will also bring about a proportionate increase in the amt of lube supplied to the engine (could be wrong)
So its premix & its 50ml per 1 litre. I'm really concerned about using 50ml per litre.sorry man my bad ... its 25ml oil if u r using side box and 50 ml if u r not using it .. for 1 lit petrol

@Vicky - Could you pls share some details as how you made your steed touch 120? Would like to take some tips.
Correct me if I'm wrong, are you saying 50ml of oil makes the vehicle push a little more faster rather than normal mix? BTW, what grade of oil were you using? Details are appreciated. Tks.Originally posted by vikywanted View Postand technically speaking in 2stroke piston, barall and crank dose not get oil from engine oil ..they get oil along with petrol so giving it little more makes it easer to run

ya man i know it sounds crazzy ... even for me at the first time.... i have done 3700+ km in my rx trust me it is smooth even at 120KMph ...u dont know wat all things i have done for my 135.... k i'll send my rx video link see it .. the cam is mounted on the handlebar the vib u see on the video is the actual vib of the bike that is the max vib i am getting when i am ripping my bike... as u can see when i am slowing down the vib is nearly "0".. 0 to 60 in 5.5 sec (roughly) the engine it self is smooth machi ... and technically speaking in 2stroke piston, barall and crank dose not get oil from engine oil ..they get oil along with petrol so giving it little more makes it easer to run

@Kb100 - Thanks; it doesn't flutter at idling & speeds upto 20; it flutters like mad after that.
@Vicky - 50ml for 1 litre of petrol? Are you sure???
@Bigbore - Thanks for the words on carbs; I haven't been able to check the breather hole yet due to my limited knowledge, I'll do it this week. I'll take the words of advice on jets seriously.

@ Aargee - Going through the pictures of your FS i can surely say its an original one and not fake
Try putting the breather pipe thats missing on one side of the carb, as there may be dust entering inside
As Yamdoot said try replacing the jets, it will surely help!!
Cheers!!

you can get those from most spares shop ,as for brands avoid local ones ,they dont cost much so buy a few from different brands ,take care that the threads match (hence buy from different brands)
at what speeds does does your engine splutter,if its spluttering at low speeds then the culprit is the pilot/slowspeed jet , are you running 15 pilots imo it might be the culpritLast edited by kb100; 08-01-2010, 09:35 PM.

Sorry sir, I don't have stock carbs with me. I was ridden mostly by my old mech for a decade or so, in that jugglery it has been lost from my hands. Do I get the main jets from any automobile shops? Any specific brands to look for?Originally posted by yamdoot View Posthmm.. so that means the airscrew hasnt been touched in long time.. u need to open the carb n see what size jets it has.The TM uses regular mikuni jets so u can swap those from the old stock carb.

Today around 3:15 PMOriginally posted by yamdoot View Postwhen were these pics taken RG?
; its fresh & hot for you
Ok, sorry to ask this question, as I keep telling you guys that I'm -1 when it comes to carbs. Can I use any size of jet in any carbs or do flat slides have different set of carbs & round slides different? Is there anything I need to ask specifically when buying a jet? Ok, one more thing, I'm assuming that 180 is main jet & 15 is idle one after looking up Mikuni's site, it could be wrong though. Appreciate some details. Thanks.Originally posted by yamdoot View Postthe carb looks real to me. u'll have to down size the main jet to stop it behaving like a fourstroke at high speeds. try a stock 165 rxg main jet.

1014
@Psycho, @Bigbore & @Yamdoot - All you guys are absolutely right, its fluttering like mad. BTW, the current reading on ODO is 1014
; started clocking upto 70 Kmph now & will maintain until 1200; after that I'm planning to increase upto 80 for another 200 & then increase to 90 thereafter. Today I did about 100+ Kms non stop at the speeds of 70 & Rx never showed any symptoms of tiredness or slug or anything abnormal. Heat was also normal. Oh!!! one more point, it started behaving like a 4 stroke!!! More the heat, more the smoothness. Any idea why? Before the build, no matter what the heat or speed, there was always some roughness.
Are you saying I should change the main jet size? Lets say the stock size is 180, should I buy something less than that? Pls elaborate your help as I'm -1 (not even 0) when it comes to carbsOriginally posted by psycho98go down on main jet size
You mean something like this? shown on RX135? Trust me, I'm afraid of rain & water wash rather than willing!!! I'm very skeptical. May be I need some gyan on thisOriginally posted by bigboreTry using a UNI or K&N RC1100
You're right on the carbon deposits, I hate to see that myself; since I don't know why its happening, I'm living with it. Psycho's pic on the plugs are really beautiful to see with no oil & looks like a clean burn. I want something like that.Originally posted by yamdooti feel the stock filter on ur bike is either too old or a local one. switch to a UNI or a good filter asap
Finally I picked up courage (read it courage) to post the pics of the carb; I'm prepared to hear the worst, even if its a fake one!!! C'mon Sunnyboi, post your comment now, I'm mentally prepared now
