Do you actually feel any dip in RPM when shifting from 4th to 5th? And what is lowest possible speeds you can pull of in 5th gear without the chain rattling? Just explain in brief as to how is feels from 1 through 5 gears.

Since your bore is just 12BHP, this setup might just work out fine, but once modified, then there will be no pull in 5th gear.

    Awaiting pics.

Karthik the problem is not the mileage being low; the issue is high mileage; I mean 500 Kms with 8 lts fuel is NEVER possible in Rx. Not its not dry, I've checked it & it has about 1 - 1.5 lts fuel.

I've a HH's rim for over 3+ years now, not a single sign of rust; they're good indeed.

Everytime something funny happens like this & that's why I decided to stop measuring!!!

I was riding like an Uncle for over 1 week because I wanted to check the mileage!!! Damn it!!! Now I need to ride one more week!!!
I couldn't help posting, just check you fuel tap assembly. When the bike came to reserve was there any petrol left? If so, then how much?

Once, my bike never came to reserve at all & it was direct "dry" & had to push over to bunk. Later i changed the fuel tap assembly & the problem was rectified.

One more sugesstion, try 15/38 or 16/37 sproket setup as yours is a 5-speed now.

And regarding vibs, 2-3mm in mirror is quite common, heck my 5-speeder used to vibrate like crazy (foot rest) when used to hit the power band. This was mainly due to bad foot rest assembly + Fat tire, then replaced with IRC Rim (Union Cycle) & Michelin Tyre & new foot rest assembly. Trust me even at 120Kmph+ there is no vibs (Except the mirror, which i rarely look at). Go for the best of Rims & Tyres, else there will be lot of wobbling.

Can you maybe repost the pic of your bike or tell me on which page is it?

@Nitin - I don't know how to explain; but one thing for sure; its atleast 50 times better than what it used to be before the complete build. To be more precise, I would say at the speeds above 80 Kmph I can see the OE mirrors vibrations of 2-3 mm.

Even otherwise, there's an issue with my Rx. The sprockets are giving the "tuck tuck" noise. I guess time to change the sprockets. And most importantly...

The clutch damper in the rear wheels are getting worn out soon. Guys any idea why?

There is no machine without vibrations! I phrased it incorrectly. I meant it is not always transferred to your hands and feet. If the engine is running right you wouldn't have any vibration (intense tickles) transferred to your body.

I guess for a 2 stroker it is less. When I had the RX100 whenever I got this problem I used to lube the chain and sprocket, with Castrol bearing grease and the vibes would subside...and also check for up and down movement of chain when rotating freely on the main stand. If it is there check and change the def sprocket. The up and down movement should be within 10-15mm.

Good to hear updates from you. Ideally, you should not experience ANY vibrations. I take my bike all the way to 100 & experience no vibs. Ensure that you are ripping ONLY after the engine is sufficiently heated up. Though, I don't know the connection, usually when I rip on a cold engine, I experience vibs. 60+ speeds is done after covering the 1st 6kms of the day, not before that.

    Report at 3000

Its been a week nearly since I'm trying to write this, but couldn't. Anyway, better late than never

When I was riding down the bridge connecting NH4-NH5, the ODO completed faithful 3000 Kms & bang immediately the vehicle started stalling at 3001. I know there's nothing to panic or even worry as its starving. So I used the reserve stock & filled the belly at 3009 for 8.14 lts of petrol & 200 ml Shell 2T. This time I decided to measure the FE after long time. Long time is something like, since 2004 may be?

Engine & Gear - As I write this, the ODO is nearing to 3500 & will complete it today. The engine has become lot more crispier, not smooth. The gear shifts have become predictable & crispier, but not smooth.

Sprocket - The "tuck tuck" sound from the front sprocket is really horrible & I feel embarassed to ride with engine switched off at parking lot in the momentum because the Rx becomes an attention grabber.

Vibrations - They're pure bliss!!! There're regular vibrations, but way better for any 2 strokes at these times. They start only after 80 & continue all way upto 100. And the Rx doesn't reach more than 100 unless its a downhill or simple plain straights. But, I don't know how it can still keep with 100's even on uphills; may be I need to try with real hills rather than the bridges.

Rust - None of them seem to be ageing except for the steel plate covering up around the RHS pilot lamp assy.

Exhaust - From Yazuki & Samaha's sound, it has become a way lot better now & I can properly hear a brand new Rx135's sound.

Ride - The ride is a lot crispier & long way (!!!) to go towards smooth. However, the sputtering is still a big issue & hence I decided to be gentle with the throttle too. If the throttle is gentle, then the sputtering almost cease to exist & the same old problem of jerking has cropped up again. Initially I dimissed the thought thinking it would fade away once I cross 1-1.5K, but it keeps following until 3K now.

A community member, a good friend of mine suggested the issues are with the jets & have to be replaced with the stock ones though I'm using the TM. I'm hunting to get one ASAP. The biggest issue to get one is - The Time as I've been working like hell for over a week+ now & expect no change in the forth coming weekend too!!! Until then, I've to remain gentle with the throttle unless I want to get shaken & stirred - Thanks Psycho for your suggestions.

Brakes - The front disc is very sharp, but looks like the pads have been worn out & hence the brake lever gets engaged almost near to the throttle. Since this brakes are kind of not seen much around, getting hold to a brake pad is getting difficult. I'm for sure taking advice of Sandeep & keeping away from RTR, but moving towards Gladiator's setup. Not sure when it would happen though.

@Sri - I guess the AGIP engine oil is doing a good job because, it is after the last service, Rx has become so much crispier compared to the original rough attitude. Next time, I'm for sure going to try Motul as per your recommendation.

That's the most difficult way to clean the plug. Use WD40 or Zorrik - provides an instant cleanup in less than 10 seconds unless you want to scrub it!!!
