nice bike kannan.if the bulbs are getting fused then the RR is not functioning. since you have spend so much i can'nt suggest a change over to 12 Volt RX135 wiring kit and magneto.I think you should fix the RX135 or other 12v RR. i think for that you need to solder one more wire to the source coil and bring it on to the 4 the laed of the RR. your mechanic may be aware of this.or alternatively you can use a LML 12V AC RR and for battery charging use 2 4 Amp diodes.I used to use this set up on my RX100.

    congrats

What is the side handle ?

If its a perfectly tuned carb you will never have to use a choke.

Your mechanic is right. Choke has to be used for cold starts.

Yes. Initial rectifier was not working and also my mech told there should be one more wire should come from the coil and it was missing. Then he took my bike to mount rd, chennai and he solder one more wire changed and the rectifier also. I think I need to check how much current is passing after the Rectifier. But when I am applying the break, the tail light is still good. Anyway I am using 12 V AMCO battery and my mech suggested that we will change the entire wiring after sometime to 12v system.

Side handle which is used to put the bike on main stand.

My mech has tuned the Carb recently and from that day onwards its happening.
I can start the bike in One kick if the interval is less then 2 hr. Else if its morning or evening I have to apply choke..

want to know from chennai guys where I can get the Genuine Yamaha parts in chennai? Also my speedo needle broken anyone suggest me where I can fix this in chennai?

                            1. Gear Box oil-Don't know best, but I use Yamalube. Agip can be another option. Avoid oils with additives is what the manual says coz it might coz clutch slippage.
                            2. Premix Oil (side tank)- Yamalube-> Shell Advance-> Motul 510, in that order

                            Currently I am running

                            1. Gear Box oil - Castrol
                            2. Premix Oil (side tank) - yamalube 20W40 (going to put) Where did you get this rating from

Comments in bold. Also please take a look at two-stroke oils thread in this section.

for RX100 the oils which I use are:

                              Engine Oil : Castrol
                              2T Oil: Yamalube 2T (its a Motul)

                                Congrats on the bike dude.

On the cold start for rx100. Here're my observations.
It depends on how the air screw(? i usually mix up here) is set.
If you set it rich(read turned clockwise), the bike will start in one kick.
But bike will feel like you're running with the choke on (in effect, you are pretty close to that). & you will lose your topend. The bike will pull like anything and the sound will be quite deep.
If the screw is set lean, starting needs a few kicks with the choke on. The sound is milder and the bike revs quite well. Most mechs do this for better mileage.
I'm currently experimenting various settings for a balance.

135 carbs may behave differently. not sure.

You don't always need rvms if your front indicators have good chrome(just kidding.)

BTW 2 hrs is quite a narrow window. try adjusting the screw 1/4 turns a day clockwise.
