It was a suggestion to Jayakannan.

@ Yamahatrooper - Thanks for the information that other parts are available. This will help for some who are looking out for parts.

Yes, cylinder kits are not easily available. Interested people shall need to decide to go out to search and get one or need to wait and watch from the Yamaha dealers.

Cylenders are going for absurd prices 8k+ if you can pick one, 1 year down the line if price shoots up to 12k+ dont be surprised. some dealers are selling it for high premium.

DTW guy says going rate for 135 4 Speed bore kit is 8.5k.

I passed through forum/orion area this afternoon. Would have enquired had I known this earlier. I have my doubts though.

ORION is the biggest jokers when it comes to rx spares, just too much politics

Thanks for your suggestion and I already have CEAT tyres on my rear wheel, I just tried once for maximum speed and I wont do that again.

Also planning to get OE piston & bore for longer life.

6 months back I paid Rs 4750; Considering the current situation, I too am willing to bet 6K or slightly more for original bore kit from a Yamaha A.S.S

I had sent you a PM. So, you bought one Fantastic Review from a 4stroker would be interesting. Post a write up in ownership thread or better still start a thread for your bike.

Where did you take it for overhaul?

6k must be old stock, if yes then lucky. Coz new price is 6.5 or 6.8k I think. Official pricing that is.

9k for overhaul is dirt cheap if it includes cylinder kit cost, provided what are the stuff he is replacing. Bearing and oil seal kit itself would come to 1k I guess. Hmmm... good price if it included spares too. Here in Bengaluru 'reputed' workshops charge 3.5k as labour alone
