Thanks, Yes you are right. I also want to keep the bike original as much as possible, but due to the unavailability of some parts no other way to go

C'mon man Rahul, you can find Minda, Fiem or Lumax headlights for RX at any automobile spares. Let me know if you need one, I can get one for you & hand over to you next week when I pass by Bangalore.

              Thanks Aargee
The thing is my bike is in my home town and as I mentioned my cousin was taking care of the rebuild when I left to Tokyo

Once I am back in country, I will surely going to get one and change it.

+1 to that ..... beauty of RX is in its stock, though I myself have changed the handle to cross one but still a good restored shiny stock RX takes my heart away

Thanks, I also want to keep the bike stock. I hope after coming back to India I will try to source rest of the original parts.

The main reason I hurried with available parts is that I did not want to keep in the work shop for long after all the painting and stuff also there was nobody to look after the rebuild as my cousin had to go back to school

IIRC, you're from Kattapana right? So when do you intend to return? Pls don't say next year or so, by then RX may become another RD, suffering for spare parts.

Yes, I am from Kattappana. My return wont be that long and I will make sure that my RX will not become an RD

                        Looks neat.
What rear rim & tyre is that There seems to be lot of gap between the floor and the tyre when parked on main stand.

It's Yezdi rim. I had a Yezdi rim and tyre, so I just tried. I just wanted to check how it looks

                          Nice catch there
