i would be more than happy to buy new.. any pointers where to get it from.. by what model name it goes. i was unable to find anything by VM20 on mikcarb website.

i got in touch with Mikkcarb india and they are shipping a new on MRP including shipping. should get my hands on in a couple of days..

replace the jets in new ones with that of the old ones

am running a G2 bore with 3rd oversize 1mm. shall i be looking at bigger jets ? or replace the stock jets of the old one on new one ?
in 4th gear at around 45 kmph i feel flat power curve and it picks up again at 60 kmph and goes well..

am running a G2 bore with 3rd oversize 1mm. shall i be looking at bigger jets ? or replace the stock jets of the old one on new one ?

replaced with new carb, have not changed the jets yet. this motorcycle in discussion was parked for 8 straight years.
as of now she is running like a charm with the new carb. shall i still change the jets from old carb or let it run ? or upjet to match up with the increased bore size ?

if you are happy with current setup thendont bother elsemake the switch , no need to upjet

I'm very new to this forum. Can someone please help me locate a rx 135 4s OEM standard bore and piston kits in Chennai. I'm not interested in the Goetze kit however happy for .5mm bore that can be rebored if available for sale. Thanks for your help.

Hello, I just got a rx 135 4 speed, 1998 built with the mikuni carb, the problem is that the rubber/plastic elements inside the carb is worn out and I am not sure of the tolerance levels of the metalic parts. Now I wanted to understand if the zadon carb is good as an alternative or would it be better to salvage what ever parts is available and remake the old mikuni carb.

stay away from safexbikes.com, ask around local spares shops for micarb carbs , or try your luck wit various facebook sellers

I see, what would be the issue with safexbikes? overpriced and crappy products? problem is, the bike is in Assam presently, so finding parts is next to impossible.

in all probability your carb might have a leaky float bowl packing or a worn out float valve , get these replaced, and you should be good to go , also there is quite a few horror stories floating in this forum itslf, safex is good only for fiber parts ,for drive train components stay away
