The picture that I have posted is what RX100 speedometer looks like. What you have posted is for RX135. Done.

I don't want to go into whether PRICOL is manufacturing speedometers are not. But if you search for RX100 meters, it is available.
I asked for RX100 speedo assembly and this is what they gave me( plz bare with pic quality, its my mobile ) thats why I asked......

Chassis are not easily available off the shelf of Yamaha showroom however, one can place the order and obtain with bill which helps you in a long way. (Police, RTO trouble). But I would avoid changing the chassis unless it is totally not road worthiness. Remember new chassis will require number punching and it has it is own processing if one wants to follow the RTO procedure religiously.
Thanks, I asked about getting a new chassis because I thought if it was possible to buy all parts and assemble a RX100 from scratch...just like a desktop computer( plz forgive me if this sounds absurd, I am totally new to the world of motorcycle mechanics, but very passionate abt it ). And the Chassis No/Engine No thing from the RC book and the Insurance cert hit me....I also googled on this topic and found your reply to a member in TEAM-BHP.com abt the legal issues....it was very helpful so thanks again

Thanks, I don't have any RX currently, Initially I thought of buying a used RX and then restoring it to pristine cond, but after seeing the new chassis images on these forums, I got the idea of possibility of a complete assemble from scratch.

I am thinking of buying all the Engine/Transmission components for the RX100. I asked for the Piston-Cylinder Kit, they told me it would cost abt Rs.9000/-. The only thing I currently know to check while buying the RX100 Piston-Cylinder kit is to check for the words imprinted on them, "G-3" on one side and "YAMAHA 98cc" on the other. I also learned that fake blocks have "36Lxxxx 98cc" written on them instead of "YAMAHA 98cc". Any kind of advice would be of immense help.

Well, I don't have a picture of the Assembly I've bought yet, but it clearly says 'YAMAHA RX100 SPEEDOMETER ASSEMBLY' on the outside label. And the dial is exactly like in the Images I've posted above( with gear indication lines ). I just want to whether PRICOL still manufactures new Speedometer assemblies for RX100 with the 'YAMAHA' logo......I don't want a used one.....

One more thing, Is it possible to install a RX135 speedo on a RX100?.....

Are new genuine yamaha chassis available for RX100 and RX135(4 Speed)....?. If yes can you tell me how much just the RX100 and RX135 chassis cost? I found these pictures using google image search....it has the 'Genuine Yamaha Spares' cover wrapped around it but can't tell whether its for a RX100 or RX135.

Are new PRICOL speedometer units for RX100 still available for sale today? Or have they stopped manufacturing it?

    Hi sarge

I have bought from indiaspares before and the parts delivered are genuine. I had only ordered small parts like gear levers, gaskets, washers and other assorted bits for my rxz. It took more than 10 days for the parts to be shipped as they said they have some problem with the payment site. But when it was finally delivered, everything was nicely packed and genuine.IMHO, you can order from them but be prepared to wait and follow up via email or phone, as the site is still in its infancy.

Hi Guys, Its been a long time since I was last here, life took a turn where I needed to pay more attention to the curve ahead and it was a long curve (all at high speeds) . Anyway trying to source some parts for the RX 100 and cant seem to find the right place. I was back home (Mumbai) 3 months ago and did manage to give my good old bike a bit of love and affection which was long due. so she now has new rims, tank, side panels, a few parts painted namely side covers and engine head and also the chain guard. She went onto her first bore was running the standard so far.....and believe me she gave me some love and affection back ..... wow she still is amazing to ride.
Okay now and was trying to get my hands on the complete dash. meter and the turn signal plus light indicators on the dash. The complete set. I think the meters available were just fine but the ones on either side of the meter were some after market parts and really terrible.
I see Sriram (how r u doing buddy) mentioning something a little earlier about them but not sure that information can help me. Sri any input for me ?
Arun (bigbore) you still around ? any input from your end would also be helpful.
Thanks again guys. Hoping to get the original set.

Hey I have never heard of a mechanic named rinku here, just in case I hope you did not mistake him for Bunty? If it's not any idea where I can find Rinku? BTW clear your inbox I tried to send a PM.
