Friends...

My Rx100 carb float got broke and am looking for a new carb or atleast the lower cup with float. Have been searching this for past 3 weeks in chennai with no luck.
Any pointers would be of much help....

Cup and float are two completely two different parts. If you have broken float, only thing I would advise is to search for a used carb from pudupet or mechanic and use it as a donor carb.

HI, Can I ask you why you need the circuit diagram of the RR unit? Its a rectifier and a regulator connected in series

I found this image of the RX100 Charging System circuit diagram here at xbhp itself, can't find the RR unit's internal circuit diagram, is this helpful to you?

Guys, I am a silent follower of this thread for quite sometime. I have a 1998 RX 100 till now and in good shape. My regular mechanic good famous in the recent and he shows no interest in doing Two Strokes. Usually I do most of the service myself, but tuning is where I miss. Last weekend I removed the carb and cleaned it completely and I refitted it successfully (I guess) but the engine tune is different. It is not as before and the beats are messed. I need your advice, please..

Congrats for your new (but old!) RX100!
AFAIK, The pre-90 models were Jap models, post-90s, Yamaha began to produce it in India.

Yes, i have recently bought a 88 RX 100 ! Its engine is in very nice shape, running on G2 bore (2nd over size). I am restoring it as a weekend project

Hi friends, i accidentally saw this thread while searching on this forum. As far as spares of Yamaha RX series are concerned, i think very few oe spares are available at YASS. But i would like to contribute some info from my side. I have seen so many duplicate/local made spares in oe packing ! Beware of those, as they are too inferior in quality. For example, i bought a RR unit for my RX 100 in oe packing for just 200 bucks with some automobile shop ! The MRP was 360 !! It lasted for a week. Instead of buying such things, i prefer spares made by DIKSHA, MASK, Suprajit etc. They are quite reliable. I have also purchased pilot and main carb jets from " DIKSHA " brand and my bike is performing as stock one.

For the fuel leakage try a new fuel tap first. If it doesnt solve the issue then you can either repair it by welding or buy a good tank. Mostly its a worn out thread of the fuel tap issue.

For the engine oil part, you may have a busted crank oil seal on the right side. That would cause the gb oil to seap in burn along with fuel. Did you notice any excess smoke while running?

Hi seniors,

I have two problems here

1) I found a small fuel leakage on fuel cock and fuel tank joint. is that fix by gas welding.? or should i replace my tank.? any other solution..?

2) I changed my engine oil two months before, (while replacing engine bearings and con rod, piston ring also I think) and rode only about 500Kms hardly. last day i was noticed a humming sound, and checked. the engine oil was almost empty there. what are the possible reasons to happen this.? is that burn out in such a short time.? I didn't find any leakage on engine or over my garage floor. if it burn out, what are the reasons to burn oil on short.?
