Re: Spare parts thread 2 strokes Yamaha RX family

    Hi seniors,

    I have two problems here

    1) I found a small fuel leakage on fuel cock and fuel tank joint. is that fix by gas welding.? or should i replace my tank.? any other solution..?

    2) I changed my engine oil two months before, (while replacing engine bearings and con rod, piston ring also I think) and rode only about 500Kms hardly. last day i was noticed a humming sound, and checked. the engine oil was almost empty there. what are the possible reasons to happen this.? is that burn out in such a short time.? I didn't find any leakage on engine or over my garage floor. if it burn out, what are the reasons to burn oil on short.?

    Thanks in advance.
    your reply will highly appreciated.

You'll find used from junkyard where they have removed from bike. Buy them with primary gear.

Sorry for quoting an old post, but I couldn't thank you enough for this ! Showroom near my place seems to have most of the spare, but if I don't get anything there I now know where to get it
