I'll be joining KL Team from Cochin but on the return journey it would be easier for me if I could come via Pollachi route. So am thinking of returning with CBE guys (if any) till pollachi, hope that won't create any trouble in the list making. Though if the KL team is returning through a interesting route then I might join them :P

As I see it, taking the route with the "best" route conditions is the route to take considering the large groups that we are riding in.

For Bangalore, I am pretty sure its going to be route #2.
For Chennai, I would suggest route #1.
For Coimby, its up to you guys the difference in distance is nearly double between the two routes.
For Kochi, well you guys don't have much of a choice now do you. :
For TVM, I guess route #1 would be the best coz then you can ride down with the Kochi gang.

For chennai guys Route # 1 & 3 are same distance. so if the meeting point is dharapuram, chennai & bangalore guys can meet and we ( coimbatore )also join

We will oraganise an intro ride in feb for CBE guys

+1 & probably when riding back, we can all ride back as one group (CBE+BLR+Chennai) from Munnar upto CBE & then split BLR & Chennai at Krishnagiri & then ride back to Chennai. The bad roads might last only from Munnar to CBE, after which its all super 4 (6 some places) laned super highway all way upto Chennai.

Munnar to Udumalpet the roads are bad...but after that the roads are really good apart from very few areas. I just came through that a week back

Well, the idea is to make one full circle & ride as one HUGE group which makes a great difference rather than riding individually.
