thank you ! No doubts about the performance and no problems enroute except for a puncture (which wouldnt have caused any problems if it would have been tubeless tyres) so its better you switch to tubeless before the attempt and PLAN well and right ! All the best. Let me know if you need any help.

        Part3:

Tanmay looked at me with his confident eyes saying "We are going to do this together".
I looked back at him with even more confidence in my eyes and a small grin saying "Till death do us apart".

        The ride has started.

We left Ashish's place to reach the Vashi petrol pump. Both of us got the witness forms signed from Ashish as the 1st witness and his brother Nikhil as the 2nd witness.Tanked up and swiped the cards.

This picture is brought to you by Moods Condoms

This one too with some more sponsors

Ashish Our 1st witness signing our Witness form

        Our 2nd witness Nikhil

        My Start Fuel-receipt

We both with Ashish and Nikhil

It was 11:38pm.We left the place as soon as the cards were swiped without wasting any more time.We hit the Palm-Beach road within moments.

The first leg of the ride on the well-lit Palm-Beach road was super-smooth.Little did we know what was in surprise for us within 20kms of the ride itself!

The part from Vashi to join the JNPT Road was known to Tanmay (me riding for the 1st time there at night),so Tanmay led me there.

We were doing some 80kmph when......"thaddd" and tanmay jumps a speed braker and me following him in the exact flow! Luckily none of us fall or damage anything. The road didnt have any lights and not much trucks at that time but yes rim-bending speed brakers! Tanmay's Osram Night-Breaker wasnt much helping him.Now I lead with a little better headlight confidently doing 100kmph on the odo only to jump over 3speed-brakers strip this time! My first ever suicidal stunt! I dont know how i survived it!

Doing 100kmph meaning doing about 27meters/sec and the speed-braker visible clearly only within 50meters,so less than 2secs to react! Now to tell you what all i did in those 2secs read this !
Slowed down without fully jamming the brakes, put less pressure on the handle-bar while holding it tight, lifting the arse from the saddle and ...and what! Jumping! During the flight maintained such a position that neither the front end dipped 1st nor the rear end. Luckily(yet smartly) landed safe.(All this has been thought of now and written,i salute the creator of this amazing human brain to handle all this in those 2secs!) Now the next thing was to see if tanmay was safe and yes he was(probably doing the same thing as i did).I slowed down and stopped onto a side to check if the bike had taken a beating.
Rims,shock-absorbers,tail-bag,tank-bag,myself...CHECK! All fine.Even Tanmay gave me the thumbs-up and we moved ahead(nothing more we could do in the pitch-dark lonely place)

We were slapped hard by reality With all this in just 20kms of our ride and reminded what all we probably could face if we were not careful!

We still maintained decent speeds till Lonavala not doing anything funny especially in the ghats.Tanmay had warned me to keep my legs clamped to the tank and not even lean anywhere.(ofcourse i behaved like a good boy and rode safe) As expected we face heavy traffic on the expressway from khopoli to lonavala eventually slowing us down(we also didnt want to lose each other to later waste time to get back together) However the Lonavala exit got us relief alongwith the wind chill! However the relieving cool air was later a curse when it went from cool to cold ! The chill went down the spine despite wearing a thermocot,a t-shirt and a liner along with the jacket!

I remember Ketan telling me that they maintained 95-105kmph while doing their Bun-burner. So even i was cruising at about 95kmph max 100kmph.Further we pass Lonavala and Pune when when Tanmay goes past me asking for more. From then we even did 114kmph with our eyes all set to the road and even good visibility.Pune-Khed-Shirwal-Bhuinj-Satara rode for 257kms and as decided after 250kms took a break.

03:04am Stopped at a pump named "Diesel Pump" which was totally dark with trucks parked. No sign of HP/BP anything itself made us think we hardly could find there anything.Nevertheless a break was required for it was a first time we rode continuosly for more than 250kms at a stretch and during the night.(Toh break toh banta hai! )

        Time on Tanmay's Bike Odo

Some pictures clicked in the dark.

        LOL

We both stretched ourselves and while me doing my general squatting came across something !

Haan Haan ! Break toh banta hain na ye le...BREAK !

I called out to tanmay who was finding a place to pee and show him what our earlier stunts had gifted us! Tanmay was shocked to see the new number plate into pieces.(Earlier one was the LED one which he replaced with this fibre one to avoid unwanted attention of mamus.)Thankfully there was no problem in the rim or the steering (obviously...250kms that he rode after that) I unable to find a proper place in the dark pissed on the gate of that stupid pump and we both moved on in search of another petrol pump.

20minutes later we find a petrol pump at Valase,Satara. 265kms on the odo.The petrol bunk attendent was inside the metal grill protected glass door visible like The Thakur Of Sholay with the blanket wrapped around him.(I was wondering how he would fill petrol in our bikes) To our surprise he didnt come out.A few hand-gestures and few minutes later Thakur comes out(with his horse-shoe fitted kolhapuri chappals)

Me: Chala kaka petrol bhara, Bangalorela jaychay.
        Thakur: *Blank Face*
        Me: Bangalorela jaun parat yaychay.
        Thakur: *Blank face*

Duh ! He wasnt as excited as i was(rightly so why would he!) A few clicks here.
        3:30am

        You can see Thakur there

        My Bike's odo and receipt

        Tanmay's Bike's Odo and receipt

Later Umbraj-Karad-Kolhapur and into Karnataka,we never realized when we crossed the state borders till we could see sign-boards in Tulu/telegu(I guess). The beautiful,wide,well-lit roads made our ride even pleasant. We passed through Nipani-Hattargi to reach Belgaum after 2hours and about 230-240kms.We saw few petrol pumps but no direct access to them from the highway,so moved on.Not a single petrol pump with a direct access! Stopped at a beautiful place with a huge water-body on the opposite side of the road and the reflection of the lights in them.
        5:20am

The highway raised to about the height of a floor and barricades on the side made it impossible to get the bikes down which meant we had to go further and make a detour for a petrol pump.We did that(we didnt have an option!) Reached the petrol pump only to find it closed!! tried finding people who would tell us about a petrol pump but to no avail.Came out and luckily found a bi-cyclist who told us to go onto the other side of the highway for another petrol pump. Took the subway only to find another closed petrol pump! (Now this was irritating and yes time-consuming!) Here not even a single human-being was visible. Came out on the service road along the highway thinking 'Lets not waste time and move ahead further'. Out of the blue i see a man peeing on the gate of a compound(See its common there,i alone wasnt the one who did it earlier),we wait for him to finish and ask him for directions.

Me: Idhar petrol pump hai kahin?
Guy: (Not much bothered and still zipping his pants) Looks here and there.
Me: Boss! Petrol Pump! Petrol Pump! (Pointing towards the fuel tank)
Guy: Ya Hgiuyib UIGhbhjxd UIGlbuyc ITfUVB(In his language)
        Tanmay and Me: *Blank Face*
Guy: Points out in the direction where we had already been 1st.
We thank him for his not much help and move on.We realize we had wasted more than 40mins in search of fuel and had to find fuel in that city! We rode along the service road to finally find a Petrol Pump.

Here the office was closed with the grill door but some loud music playing inside.I looked in through the grill where a man was fast asleep with the local radio on.A lot frustrated i try waking him up hitting the metal grill and calling out "Anna...Anna" Anna was fast asleep probably dreaming about Shriya Saran or Ileana or both.He didnt move a bit.I thought he was dead! Now i scream out even more loud, louder than the local songs that were playing on the Radio.Another guy sleeping atop a table gets up...gets up in style as 'The Undertaker'! I come back to my bike thinking its not good to mess with the UndertaKer especially the one who was disturbed while dancing with a HOT South Indian Actress in his dream.

The Undertaker comes walking straight towards our bikes holds the pipe(petrol pipe) and tanks up our bikes without a word.Goes back to his petrol cum radio station office.Tanmay looks at me in disbelief and says "This we could have done straight away before and left...." Me: #%$#^&%$ (I abuse him saying he could have given the idea before ! ) It was 6:17am which meant we had wasted more than a hour in search of a petrol pump unknowingly.Kept this in mind, took a small break and moved ahead after 6:30 am.It was already Daybreak!

        The undertaker's Work-place

Tanmay's Bike's odo and fuel receipt

My Bike's odo and fuel receipt

So till now 7hours of riding and exactly 500kms on the odo. That is an average speed of 71kmph which could have been 83kmph if not for the time wasted in search of petrol.Nevertheless we were happy that we were safe back here riding through the dark on not much known roads !

P.S. Please wait for the further detailed report as it would take a little more time.
