      OT-: Since the distance from Bangy to Horsley is very less, I was thinking of riding to chennai on Friday night and start from chennai as a huge gang . S as praful pointed out, we get to ride more than the chennai guys

      How many bangy guys vote for this???

        ^^ Easy boy, not so quickly....Bangy-Chennai=350kms,Chennai-Horseley Hills=250kms.

        => 600kms ride.....not a biggie.....but does ahem...err...wifey know about your plans...

        On a serious note, you could actually meet the gang at Ranipet coz they would anyway be coming down the GQ till Ranipet before taking a right for Chittoor!

          Thats very well put!!! Krish, my man... Pls understand that ur no more a bachelor boy and come to terms with it. We dont wanna loose u out of tours permanently. And BTW yeah, u cud meet us at Ranipet or so....

            Damn insurance companies for not working on saturday, Damn insurance companies for wanting to check the two wheeler after insurance has expired for renewal!

                OT: Its for the Dio man, I can't transport it to Mumbai without proper insurance. And Tata AiG expired way back in august! .....just spoke to those guys, I was dumbfounded...man they don't work on saturdays was the biggest shocker for me...

                OT PS: How come you renewed yours a week back? I thought your bike was a Aug'07 model?

                    login to icicilombard.com and get the insurance renewed online. No hassles. I did the same thing.
                    I think if u have a noclaim bonus then they'll not call for an inspection also.

                      Bhai, the insurance is for my Dio which is lying in Chennai. It was orignally insured by TATA AIG, which expired this year. To renew insurance with these guys the vehicle needs to present and their online renewal facility does not work!

                      So as of now I am most probably riding to chennai on the friday before the ride and wrapping this up.

                          Guys, im out. :sad:

                          my wallet got stolen from my room today, and so the DL alongwith it, and i've been an idiot for not keeping a license copy, and since my license had been issued in my hometown (ahmedabad) its most probably not going to be in my hands by this time. I just have a learner's of this place (karnataka)

                          **** whoever stole it , im going to miss out on such a ride.

                            I just had a 4-inch long nail in my bike's rear tire. My tubeless is now a tubed tire, and let's hope that I can replace it before the 29th. If not, it might be a lil tough for me to make it. My chances of making at are still 99%. (I'll hitch-hike if I have to!)

                              Praful, what time are you riding to chennai? Since you have to renew insurance, I'm sure you will take friday off. If not, please let me know.
