Yea, you can start with doing 200 pushups a day and need to be able to run atleast 10kms at a stretch... <just kidding dude!>

Just ride man, don't worry too much about extraneous stuff.

Just ensure that you ride safe and ride in manner that does not pose danger to others. And wear whatever protective gear you have!

PS: Since you ride a 220, have a tubless puncture repair kit, a few spare fuses and chain spray really helps.

        ^^

@Praful: Do you actually carry the tubeless repair kit with you? And in case of a puncture, do you know how to fix it?

Yes I have always carried the puncture repair kit since my coorg ride, and yes I know how to use it.

I've used it once already, but you would need a pump to fill air once you are done, its best done at a fuel pump where they have the air facility.

For rides where the closest town is under 300kms, you really don't need to repair the puncture, but for longer rides carrying one is definitely recommended.

Did borrow the footpump too from Kiran for my ride to Coorg!

But will invest in a electric pump soon.

The foot pump is a permanant tenant in my saddle bag. That should give a sigh of relief to many.

                @Yuvraj: Nothing to worry about.
                • Get your bike serviced before the ride.
                • Make sure you have enough sleep the previous night.
                • Ensure that you wear the 'H' undies (boxer type) while riding. That should relieve you of the @$$ pain.
                • Ride ON!

People who might need the Puncture kit can borrow mine, although i'm pretty doubtful about the patches, they may have gone hard due to disuse but if anyone might need it i'll spare mine for the trip

We're trying to start an initiative where we're gathering enough photos or videos
of erratic Swiggy/Zomato/UberEats riders across all cities so we can cast a spotlight
on this issue and try and sort it out. If you video-record as you ride, or have a
dash-cam in your car, or can take SAFELY photographs of instances where these riders
are creating a nuisance by riding recklessly on the roads, PLEASE share the same with
us on the thread above. Appreciate it!
