            Guys,

            I called up for accommodation... The dormitories are unavaiable as they have not been maintained. The cheapest one that has worked for now is 2310/room that can have 5 people. This works to 462/person. If you are all fine with this, we need to make a reservation by paying as soon as possible. If any of you see an alternate, please let me know.


            EDIT:

            I need Rs. 9240 for making the reservation. Can someone from Chennai/Bangalore help me with this? I don't have so much to spend. You could also partially pay... If you could transfer to my account, I could take the cash and pay it off. Please let me know at the earliest.

              Oh boy. That's a big amount. I can pay off 500 bucks now, coz that's all I have on hand. And we HAVE to be fine with that. If the dormitories are unavailable, then that's the only accommodation to go with.
              Btw, I just saw that if we took cottages for 4 instead of rooms for 5, it works out even cheaper at Rs.375 per person. Wouldn't that be a better option?
              Yeah, the cottages need to be available, but do check again if they are bro.

                @Praveen: I this the only hotel available there? In other words, is this the only and last option left for us? Not that I'm worried about the tariff, but Rs 462 per head for a night is a bit costly.

                Btw, I too cannot help you with the payment; I'm bankrupt for the rest of this month. Waiting for next Friday; to see my salary credited.

                A cost cuttng measure... I'm bringing my tent along. I can accommodate a couple of more guys. So, cut down three guys from the list. Am I sounding too stingy? I'm sure Praful, Apar, and Matcatz wouldn't be interested.

                  @Praveen : Am sorry yaar, been living out of my CC this whole month(since I shifted my job). But I can get around 1.5K-2K or so from my friend and transfer it to ur account. I can give it back to them after I get my salary. BTW how early do u need the finance? And more importantly, HOW MUCH DO U NEED?

                  Just out of curiosity, cant we make a part payment now and book it and complete the payment when we check-out or check-in. Or better still make the complete payment thru card or something

                  @Akhil : It is not needed that u come on ur R-ONE mate!!! We do not mind even if u bring ur desi bajaj. And I too have the same doubt about ur ever-morphing Avtars!!

                  @Kiran : Hopefully u get the tent with rain covers and don't put us all in a plight similar to Yelagiri!

                    Cottages are unavailable. I didn't find another hotel apart from this. I asked him for the cheapest and he told me this. I thought, come what may, we will book only 4 rooms and we will try to stay there irrespective of the number of riders. If we exceed 20 riders, the cost will still come down.

                    EDIT:

                    @Apar: I need Rs. 9240. Only full payment accepted by the hotel guys.
