Meeting Point : KR puram bridge

lies in the route of our trip

KR Puram bridge doesnt have any other landmarks except the bridge itself. so finding a group could be difficult, since there are roads that go below the bridge and other diversions . we could either meet exactly at halfway below the bridge in front of the KR Puram railway station or at one of the end points of the bridge.


Meeting Point : Cool Joint

+ves
familiar to most of the riders and nicely located place where easily a group of 20 rides can converge. also would allow early preride discussions as usual in other rides which have started from cool joint.

some riders will have to ride all the way to cool joint and then again go back on the same route when we start off.

I would go with both. People from northern half of bangalore can converge at KR Puram Bridge. People from Southern half of bangalore can converge in Cool Joint.

Converge at cool joint 45 mins prior to converging at KR Puram bridge. Therefore, people converging at the bridge will have half hour longer to get up and meet. However, keep the meeting at KR Puram short so that everyone can leave within 5 mins of meeting up. Anyone late at the bridge location will have to do the catching up work.

I thought let me pick somethin near KR Puram n Indira Nagar as I see guys coming from all sides of the city... am coming from Jalahalli...

my suggestion: RMZ Infinity, Old Madras Road (opp to Big Bazaar) Exit Gate 2-

you cannot miss this landmark coz its a IT Park as well as it has got food joints though we are not gonna eat anything there ...

@all: Before Praveen can go ahead with the booking, is there any one who has a concern with the tariff? Do raise your concern(s) here, right away.

With a lot of positive responses... I'm booking 4 rooms, each costing 2310.

Total price = 2310 x 4 = Rs. 9240.

This will be divided among the no of people coming in. Also, irrespective of the number of people coming in, we will have to adjust in the 4 rooms. These rooms should be fine as they normally accomodate 4 people.

@xinfii... generally hotels have extra tariff for extra persons occupying the same room...

ter will be lots of people confirming at last minute. present strength is somewhere near to 25 and i expect it to cross 30 easily... will 4 rooms be ok then????...

Guys its just one night, as long as the rooms are big enough it shouldnt be a problem. we can order more beddings if we need to.

just talked with praveen for good odd 15 minutes. he said per room normally accommodates 4 people (dats wat double bedroom means there) so accommodating 6 people will not be a problem.

Further depends upon the no. of people on final day. By the way someone here is carrying a tent which can accommodate 3 people plus worse case scenario we can opt for something downhill if available dats all discussed over the phone.

My office is situated in that campus. Xeno i confirmed that the chai and sutta tapri on gate 2 exit will be open at 6. Further, those who are counting on shell petrol then we have shell petrol bunk on the opposite and few eateries inside the campus.

Small correction... I was trying to say, generally, when hotel folks say double bed room, it is quite easy for 3 people to stay without any extra beds. All we need to do is, put the 2 beds there together. The same way, this bedroom is for 4, as per the hotel folks. I believe 6 people staying in that room should not be a problem.
