Meeting time : Should 5:15 Am be okay for guys meeting up at KR Puram ? remember we need to checklist our own belongings, cash, and other stuff necessary for the trip, we'll also discuss any random stuff related to this ride or biking itself.

And also i need a Chai sutta break

hey prajwal, excellent suggestions, regrouping places seem good with the distance margin. the roads arent that great though as praful has mentioned.

and speaking of you joining in the ride, the only logistics required is the accommodation. ill just buzz you an hour before the ride (4-4:30 am), if you're not confirmed then we'll not be waiting at the meeting point for you. accommodation wont be a problem dude, we can sleep on the floors if the need arises, its just one night that we have to spend there

so chill

absolutely fine by me, if you need some contribution to the booking amount call me up . food would be at max 200 per head since we saved a lot on the food last time.. it was great.

KR Puram bridge doesnt have any other landmarks except the bridge itself. so finding a group could be difficult, since there are roads that go below the bridge and other diversions . we could either meet exactly at halfway below the bridge in front of the KR Puram railway station or at one of the end points of the bridge.

familiar to most of the riders and nicely located place where easily a group of 20 rides can converge. also would allow early preride discussions as usual in other rides which have started from cool joint.

some riders will have to ride all the way to cool joint and then again go back on the same route when we start off.

Well Chennai gang...here is our plan...

We meet at 4 A.m Saturday and leave at 4.30 A.M Cruise at comfortable speeds...meet the bangi guys at a desired place and head towards horsley hills.

Rules...Well who am I Kidding...

I guess this ride might be bigger than the previous one, just missing the likes of John and chetan...Any new on Rocky, prabhu , rahul and the rest of the gang...?

lets meet and work out things .
Morning cos later guys ll be involved with the cricket match.
Lets meet all new faces just 4 an intro before the ride . and get familiar with the meeting pts for ppl who dont know about it .

Managing out about 20 plus guys aint easy.

Anyone can sign in and update the numbers.

I suggest meeting up at Cool Joint at 4:30am. Leave at 5 to join RMZ at 5:15/5:30am. Leave from RMZ not later than 6am strictly.

I am particular about a few things. Especially about everyone having their papers intact and fuelled up the previous night. I really do not want to wait for people to fuel up and keep 20 others waiting. During the ride, I would be looking out for the person behind me all the time, and I expect the rider in front to look out for me as well thru their RVM's.

We need a road captain to keep things cool and peaceful if so many r riding together. Who wants to volunteer?

If there are 2 groups, then 2 lead riders and 2 sweep riders would be required. This is apart from the road captain. This is absolutely essential if there r 20 riders spread over 4 kms. Perhaps groups of 8 each would be a good idea.

Essential hand signals to know would be:

Slow down
Stop
Speed up
Roadside stop over
Allow the rider behind to overtake
Road Hazard

The only person who should be allowed to overtake would be the road captain. Nobody else overtakes anyone else. I think photo opps should be at the descretion of the captain, the group could move on and the photographer could play catch up with the group.

Regrouping every 50-70kms might be a good idea. The following places are a suggestion.

@Amit: Dont count on everyone to make it. As is usually the case, the numbers could shrink too. But its good to be optimistic.
