Nice trip Ganesh Half of the trip reminded of my ride just that you have done it in the reverse

Dhanushkodi - we were riding on the sands of Dhanushkodi from 12 noon to 2 PM right under the scorching Sun. So I can relate to what you had gone through there! And we didn't have enough water with us. The sugarcane juice stall near the check post was a savior for us!

And that piece of road to Kothandaram Temple was a true bliss!

Just one pic of that road from ride . Sorry to hijack your thread

P.S: Thanks for reminding me that my Tlog is incomplete!

Awesome; that's why I wrote in my trip log asking to carry water, so that if someone else makes it next time, they could complete all the 12Kms

I didn't even notice it (probably my eyes were looking only for water); rode all way up to the town to get one.

Bliss? Paradise on Earth ; infact, when I was going through Ramnad, I was thinking about you & your TLog as your TLog taught me about that place Ramnad which I didn't know earlier.

Hijack? You call this hijack? C'mon, what's there to hijack in this? Feel free to post some pics if you'd like, I don't consider them hijack; I can add a post exclusively for pics, yours & mine side by side stating "Manoj's perspective", if you like.

        Lol...finish it off soon

I sincerely wish to do the same circuit, probably with a group next time; I never got tired of that circuit.

Nice ride there with some good pics.I also managed to reach till the end at dhanuskodi last year. The place is so beutiful, calm and silent.

Did you miss the ruins of a town en route Dhanuskodi, which was wiped out by Tsunami.

On my ride from Kanyakumari to Cochin,i faced a lot of heat and traffic.I was so pissed off that i took the internal routes from Kollam, rather than taking the coastal route.

          Cheers

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
            The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

            THE END

                  Dear aargee,

You have posted beautiful pictures of some lovely rides. And if I remember right, the journey is more important than the destination (or the plan!) for bikers, right?

Your photos are a sight for sore eyes. I have not seen so much greenery since my tenure in Assam. And the water ways, fields surrounded by hills on one side and rivers on the other and all along, so much greenery! I have never visited Kerala (barring one tiny 5 day capsule in Kannur) or Tamil Nadu so was basking in the green glow of your photos. It must be an amazing landscape, Kerala and Tamil Nadu... And everything is so neat and clean, spick and span, almost like a picture postcard. After the sands and plains of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi, your photos are a HUGE bumper glass of sweet lassi on a hot summer day. I have promised my wife and myself to do a big south tour next year, hopefully on a Bonneville or a V Strom.

                  Great pics, great words, aargee.

                        sir,

in the old times, you would use a pair of cut up bicycle tubes to tie your luggage. works as good saar.

                          Awesome idea; will use this tip in the future trip;

You see ladies...especially Wifeys & Mothers are very sentimental to their husband & Son. They really don't like you to do what they don't think we should be doing. They want you to come home when you're outside; but when you're at home, but they don't want to talk to you; quite strange, but that's why they've come from Venus I suppose Enough of philosophy...what happened here is more of sentimental than a broken bungee chord.
