              The Final story

After reaching our destination, we checked in our hotel, freshened up and sat together to have some fun. It was already 10 pm so we all ordered dinner. After finishing dinner, we decided to end the day with some fun by playing " Truth & dare ". The game carried on till 1 am and was awesome. The next day we were to get up early at 6 am to capture mother nature's beauty in lenses. Almost all of us woke up but could not carry on as decided. We had breakfast and went on to capture some pictures. Since we hadn't taken a Monday, all of us were requirred to be back in Delhi before Monday morning. So we started the return journey at 2 pm after having lunch. The return journey was as interesting to me as climbing up the hill ( atleast for me). The ride back was more tiring since we had to cover the offroading in Rampur again under darkness.

That concludes my first trip with Falcor. It will always be a memorable trip for me. Ridding through the hills, spending time with friends. A lot of learning , a lot of fun. Now the touring bug has bit me and looking for an opportunity to get on the roads again. Let's hope the time comes soon.

              Cheers,

              Siddhartha.

                          Hi xBhp Friends

Today only I got the time to share my experience of this 48 hrs ride. My chances were too less to join this ride because of some medical issue however getting the green flag from my doctor I decided to join the B-K-C gang to Ranikhet. This was the first time I was officially going to hills on my bike. I just packed by bag with all the thing which were required & decided to go to Sandeep's home at Friday evening However just 10 mins before leaving some fool broke my bike's rear number plate & ran away. It was already 8:30 PM when I got a new number plate fixed. So I decided to join Sidharth at Subroto Park. As expected I tried to sleep however I was able to sleep for 2 hrs only & woke update around 2:00 AM Saturday. Got geared up & my mom clicked my photo with my bike. This was the time my journey got started...

I reached Subroto Park at 2:45 AM & rain was just drizzling. I was waiting for Sidharth & Deepika suddenly I saw a CBR coming & at the same time it started raining heavily. From there we reached Shekhar's home where Shekhar & Mahak were ready to join us. Suddenly a thing clicked in my mind that Sandeep was waiting for my call to join us at Shekhar's place so I called him & asked to join us all at CISF camp (The Departure point) however he joined us on the way to CISF camp from Shekhar's home.
                          DAY 1:
                          DEPARTURE POINT: CISF CAMP Ghaziabad
There we met Prateek, Saurabh & Lakshit, I was shocked to see Lakshit was really joining us however till our Breakfast time. When we reached CISF camp Prateek asked who the culprit was for being late and we all late comers put the blame on Sandeep. After signing off the waiver form we had a quick group riding session conducted by Prateek. There we decided Prateek will lead & Shekhar will sweep along with numbering of other riders. Then we started our journey to Ranikhet
At this Journey there were following riders with their bikes:

JOURNEY BEGINS JOURNEY BEGINS WITH WATER PROOF RIDING GEARS & RAIN COATS
It was raining all the way to Gajraula's Giani dhaba where xBhp had Breakfast a very long time back during one other ride. Highway was in good condition till dhaba. After reaching the breakfast point we filled our tummy with parantha & tea. And how was it possible that I didn't click a group picture.

Then we started the journey once again & came across the unexpected off-roading at Rampur. I never expected that I will go off-road on National Highway. Just 25 km before Haldwani We took another break for our Lunch. After having lunch, no one was feeling tired because most of us came from office directly. However after collecting strength we started the journey once again. On the whole way people were staring our group. After crossing Haldwani, main surprise for me was waiting.

I was amazed when we entered the hills because Prateek was leading the way & he playing with his bike on hills. I am sure he was able to do so because he has good experience on hills. Then we stopped for few minutes & Shekhar gave us 1 minute hills riding coaching lesson. Then we started once again. After covering 30 kms of hills it was dark till Ranikhet. Just 15 km before Projectors of Prateek's motorcycle went down & he asked me to go in front & really that was a night mare for me however I tried my best to lead the way. The best part for me was I was not able to see the depth of valley running on one of my side because of the dark & that helped. Somewhere around 9 PM on Saturday we reached Ranikhet & then we checked in & had our food. Then we started Truth & Dare game which opened a lot of our secrets & we enjoyed till 1 PM. At that almost everyone decided to wakeup 6AM in the morning to do some nature photography

DAY 2: Early Morning 6PM, Location: Ranikhet
I was the first one to wake up exactly at 6:03 AM in the morning & when I went in balcony of the hotel room & I was amazed with the beauty of the valley. I just pulled my & Sandeep's camera to shoot as may photos I could, Then 1 by 1 I was bringing everyone in the balcony & loved to see everyone's face expression.

Then we decided to visit the market & have our breakfast. I was a real fun wandering in market & clicking photos standing on the cliff of valley.

While coming back I was shocked to see I was riding in night & was amazed to the beauty of the place. Then after starting the journey we talk may small break & reached home safely on the next day (Monday) morning 5AM.
I would like to thanks Prateek & Shekhar for all the support & all the riders to make this happen. It was a great fun riding together & I am eagerly waiting for next ride.
