Fantastic pictures Dhiraj. I could recognize each and every place in the pictures, also we had seen them in the same mist and rain. We had to ride at night from lammasingi to Paderu in drizzling rain, and it was one hell of an experience. We are supposed do that in day time but we had started from Bhadhrachalam very late, almost 10 a.m. The roads were good for some kms, but very bad for many kilometers.
The view point is not Araku Valley. Its near Ananthagiri Hills, and that hill is called Galikonda, the highest peak in eastern ghats at 1350 meters. It was all mist when we went last year and almost waited for 1 hour to get the glimpse of the beautiful view from there, but in vain. You could see train route going like a snake in fields and forests.

Day 3 Pics Continued....
In morning we detoured to a place, which was paradise for riders and photographers. We decided that once we are done with explorations of Araku, Borra caves and places around. However, because of rain we couldn't reach on time. Only by sunset, we could reach that place and click some pics(low light pics didn't come great).
And Day 3 ends.... Next Day a new terrain

Day 4- Araku-- Vizag--Rajahmundry
330 Kms. Roads are very good. NH5 from Vizag to Rajahmundry. Beware of the chaotic traffic in between.

Our plan was to reach Rajahmundry as soon as possible and than book next day ferry for Papikondalu and Bhadrachalam.
But heavy rains slowed us down big time. All the way to Vizag, we rode in heavy rain. The only downside was less/no pics
at places, where otherwise we would have captured.

[B]Day 5- Rajahmundry--Kakinada-- Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary/Mangrove forest--Kakinada--Rajahmundry
200 Kms approx. Roads are decent. Coringa Sanctuary is a treat for bird lovers(though winter is peak season).
PS: Covered rice bowl of Andhra, Mangrove forest, Delta formation, where Gauthami river meets Bay of Bengal and a little
section of Sanctuary

On Day 4 we wanted to reach Rajahmundry asap and book a ferry for Bhadrachalam via Papikondalu with or without our bikes on board. We were
so much looking for the ferry ride that we allocated one day for the event. However, when we contacted AP Tourism desk, we were disappointed
to know that all ferry trips were cancelled because of over flooding Godavari. Well we had to fall back for Plan B- explore Coringa Wildlife
Sanctuary and explore second largest Mangrove forest of India(Thanks to a friend from Rajahmundry for the details). Trip to Coringa was much
longer than what we had anticipated. Reason was MMI GPS going berserk in the route till Yanam. Easiest wasy out was to reach Kakinada and
than trail to Koringa, which is hardly 10 kms away from Kakinada. Though we detoured and were wandering like lost till we reached Yanam, the
countryside view of lush green paddy fields with coconut trees, was simply soothing.

Day 5 Continued....
After half a day of detour and wandering around Yanam, we finally reached Coringa. Their is small hoarding for Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary and people can easily miss it. Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary houses an estuary and second largest Mangrove forest in India with 24 species of mangrove and 120 species of birds. It's a treat for bird's watchers specially in the winters. Along the estuary, we had a boat ride and witnessed the Delta formation.

Day 5 continued....
We went deep Found this colorful crab(don't know the species). Towards the end of wooden bridge, you reach estuary that takes you to the delta. On the other side of the estuary is the entrance of Bird sanctuary, which seems to be closed to normal junta.

Day 5 pics continued...
After an eventful day at Coringa Wildlife sanctuary, we headed back for Rajahmundry. Next day was last day of ride and we reach Hyderabad on Bakreid. We had to recondition our bike and pack our bags. Well the day wasn't over yet. We had a soothing evening in Rajahmundry. Against the backdrop of Godavari and beautiful double bridge, the sun sets in full glory. Until next set of pics....Comment

Next set of pics. We spent our last evening of the trip at the banks of Godavari in Rajahmundry. Enjoyed the quality time spent at the ghats, bridge(twin bridge) and headed back to hotel to pack our bags and overhaul the bikes for last leg of the trip.
This was something unique. The same bridge has a lower section for trains and upper section for vehicles. We were shit scared riding on the upper section, when a train passed. Entire bridge shakes like anything.
We were amused by different boats around. We tried to capture boats in our vicinity....
And the eventful day came to an end.... Next day we had to start early and reach Hyderabad on the auspicious occasion of Eid. Until next set of pics and logs.

Just like every good experience comes to an end, our happening trip came to timely conclusion. The last day of the trip was meant for quick return to Hyderabad on Eid and relax before getting back to work. As such we had 3 stops till we reached Hyderabad and we reached by afternoon. Here are a few pics and route map.
