ah ha!!! Was busy attending a few tasks at home but this thread is up a lot before I thought it would!!!
Well, guys, for this trip, I too have got (borrowed) a digital camera... a crappy Kodak 7 MP thing that's very bad at getting the detail when shooting landscape. However, I did shoot over 500 photos with that. About 300 odd are useful & good. A short preview from my side -

Excellent trip guys.....
I was continuously bugging ravi kiran @ our office for the trip details...
We are planning for the same trip (with little changes) from 25th to 29th december....
I will give my perfect plan by this weekend....
@ravi, ravikiran and hydbikder: It would be of great help if I could get your inputs on my plan once i post it
right now we are 3 guys (hopefully):

Day 1 - it was a 4 day trip with no thoughts of riding close to Bangalore..
Day 2 - Returning through Bangalore was an option - effect of no roads. Jog was in the plans which was later dropped.
Day 3 - the trip was decided to be a 5 day one now.
Day 4 - Decided to head back to hyderabad on Bangalore - Hyderabad road from Bangalore.
Day 5 morning, it was decided to try the roads through Nandi hills than to get stuck in early morning Bangalore traffic.
So, things were not exactly planned as they they were executed.
In fact, the trip was planned only 3 days in advance.

The pleasure was all mine.... I was their with Vaidee & My Family in A Tempo Traveller Mising my comet BADLY at every curveThank you! The Kuduremukh stretch was pure bliss to ride. Had wonderful ride on that stretch. Thanks to HiSunil from banglore who introduced this stretch to us.
We were discussing what to do in Sringeri, and all of a sudden Sunil greeted us seeing the xbhp stickers. I know sunil a bit and was really happy to see him there. Got some good points from him where to visit and how to go.
planning to visit the ghats for a 2 night 3 day ride this Jan 1st ....
Guys back at the lodge were ragging that I was blushing / happy after meeting you guys !!!!
