        Thanks Mibhin! It really turned out to be a wonderful trip to us. Actually we first headed towards Jog falls and reached Sagar. At Sagar, we changed our plans and headed towards Hosnagara. We did not take turn before Sagar, but we took turn at Sagar.

              GUys, my comp is giving me a hand... MS word & Excel not working... even the log I started typing is not opening.. dunno how much of it is saved and how much gone!!!

              Add to this, Picasa is not showing the images when I give links on xBhp.com. I tried using Flickr... uploaded ~530 photos overnight only to realize in the morning that I can access the latest 200 photos until I upgrade (WTF!!!?)... now when I wanted to search for more options, my system stopped booting!!!!

              made a recovery CD today from a friend's place, did all kinds of checks on my system, found nothing wrong, tried booting again, voila, it is working.... This is like the fever we get that needs a visit to the doctor no matter what... even if the doc certifies that u need no medicine!!!

                        Pleasant surprise - snaps from your cam have come out really well
                        It took me almost an hour to view all the snaps. Trip log awaited
                        Convince the other uncle also to upload the snaps please
                        but the comments are seriously missed.

                                if you guys feel that my photos are good, then you'll have to find words for Ravi's photos. You can match and see the depth, noise level and colours from his camera.... many times I've just shut my camera off as Ravi is shooting it anyways and I am assured of a better picture from his cam.

                                BTW, I have shot images at 6.2 or 7MP. Ravi has max 5MP and some photos got shot at less than 1MP... This is FYI, just in case someone still thinks more mega pixels the better!

                                I have recently downloaded FastStone Image Viewer and it is doing a lot of work for me... Did the resizing + watermarking + bordering in one shot - a single batch job. It has some very good editing features and much more to explore...
