Day 1 : Bangalore - Mysore - Ooty - Munnar :

After some bumpy roads in Chinnar, we finally reach Munnar at 8PM. 3 hours later than what we planned! We get hold of a couple of rooms with some decent parking and hit the sack, after close to 15 hours of riding.

    Day 2 : Munnar - Kundala Dam - Top Station - Echo Point - Munnar :

The next morning we were up by 7 and this is what we saw when we opened our doors!!

We had planned to spend the whole day at the Top Station stretch which includes Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and Kundala Dam. After a quick breakfast of Puri, Ghee Roast and Idlis, we start off!

    Photos enroute...

    Kundala Dam :

A couple of kms before Top Station the whole climate changed to cool and foggy. Felt like staying there for the whole day..

    To be contd....
It's always better to lose a second in life than to lose life in a second!

            Day 2 Contd... : Top Station :

We finally reach Top Station and are disappointed to see a number of petty shops lined up all the way until the entrance. We quickly grab some lemon soda to quench our throats and set off excitedly towards the view point...
            .

            .

I figure an alternate route which had no steps but a path way. Damn... the views were breath-taking!
            .

            .

The crowd starts building up. We hurriedly take some snaps and leave the place. It was time for some Tea-Estate photography on the way back
            .

            .

We reach the echo point, find a lonely place to chill out and do some fun photography and water splashing which Abhisek will post ...
            .

            .

The roads were one of the best I had seen and one could ride up and down this stretch whole day!
            .

            .

We then head near Matupetty Dam to get a view of the Sunset...
            .

            .

Almost at the time we wre about to leave, the locals walking around started scaring us saying that a herd of elephants were headed our way :P I knew that was hoax just to drive us away! Krishna was too excited and wanted to see the elephants :bs:

We were back to our rooms sooner than we thought! We were surprised that all of us seemed tired, for just 70 kms of riding in the whole day, on on stretch of day. We called it a day excited to head out towards Theni road the next morning...

            To be contd...
