  • Exploring the wet western ghats and rainy beach

So far it has been couple of months since I added Ninja 300 to my stable. Except few morning josh rides and couple of 250 KM round trips, it was more or less resting in the parking lot. Monsoon arrived and I started bugging my ever reliable riding partner @sruce2002 for a wet ride . We explored many options and zeroed on the below route

Reason being, Neelmangala to Hassan 4 lane open highway: To wring our right wrist and achieve 3 digits speed, Hassan to Mangalore via Sakhleshpur: Twisties and heavy rains to enjoy the serene beauty and then Suratkal to witness the different kind of sand of the sea. Only problem was that what if we get muddy roads and offroad trails. Will the Ninja survive such attacks? A track bike on worse Indian roads? Shall I take my reliable NS to be my companion?

Final answer: Lets do it on Ninja only. @sruce2002 had his 5 years old workhorse ZMA to accompany him( which once used to be the best Indian tourer, till CBR came in. I know many bullet'iers and few other people will tend to disagree and I don't want to start any brand war here ).

Decided to start at 4 AM from Bangalore but like our few previous rides we goofed up this time also . Woke up only at 5:20 AM and hurriedly packed the stuffs and left by 6 AM.
Few teaser pics are attached. For the rest and the complete 2 days log, I am relying on our super cool Mod's for the speedy approval of this thread

Nice ride their bro (both, the bike and the trip pics). Did you guys do it on 13th and 14th July? Because I and another friend were in the exact same route! Did you see a poor chap on a white ZMR?

Hey, we saw some bikers on the way. One group near nelamangla crossing & another bullet group ate Athithi restaurent. But after crossing Hassan I guess didn't see any biker.
