Did the same route albeit from Huskur Gate via NICE to Mangalore last summer in about 4 hours and 10 mins with one 5 min stop for a few clicks at the river you guys clicked.
Set off at 11am and was home by 3:15 pm
That 4 lane highway is such a bundle of joy, i kept the throttle pinned open for an hour and half straight until the Ghat section arrived where it took me an hour just to do a 20km stretch at 5-10kmph :/
So how is the Ghat now? Roads are repaired or craters still visible?
before the ride I did some R&D about western ghat of that part, specially kegenari forest, Shiradi, Gundya. Saw some good pics in google. But when we reached there it was not like that may be there is some another route for that. Do you have any idea, which are these places. want to explore western ghats in next ride

Beautiful pics, though I feel the clouds are overdone and look artificial to my taste. Seems you guys had nice fun riding on wet ghats.

next time take the Charmadi ghat for a change. The view is better but the roads are a bit narrow and too risky.
