Matlab, tehelka machaye huye ho bhai! Moreover, I think I should take some Inglis ispeaking tuson from u. Kuch kuch words to aise likhte ho ki dictionary dekhna pad jata hai. Awesome snaps BTW!

                Day Two, Location: Shiradi Ghats

Good Morning Subramanya. Although we had plans to wake up as early as 06:00 AM in the morning and make our move towards Gundya, however, everyone woke up round about 9:00 AM (most probably because of exertion from last night). Couple of us were still having body aches all throughout and was not in a mood to ride. It was upto the rest of the folks to make everyone get up . Pushes and tickles below feet made everyone to wake up finally . Our plan was to get ready as early as 11:00 AM and go to the Kukke Subramanya temple and click some pictures. By 11:00 AM we actually were all ready and we moved out towards the hotel parking. This was the first time we were able to get a good look at the hotel we stayed overnight. Looked pretty decent for a minimal cost of 500/-

There was one major problem though. Our clothes did not dry up a single bit and they were all soaking wet . We did not have much choice though but to wear the same clothes though and continue our journey the next day.

We started from the hotel by 11:10 AM and made our way towards the Kukke Subramanya temple. The temple was looking amazing with hills on the backdrop and clouds in the sky. We made our way slowly through the traffic and chose a sweet spot to click a few pictures

We made our way out from there to the only petrol pump in the small town. Refilled to full tank and we were all set to go. We were advancing slowly because the road condition inside the town was not great and the continuous rains had made the roads ever worse, full of mud and ditches. Slowly, but steadily we made our way out of Subramanya. We reached a small bridge and stopped to click few pictures

As soon we came out of Subramanya, it started raining again. Now, the rain was becoming too tiring for us . We hence decided to continue our journey and not stop due to any rains as because we were already wearing wet clothes . Couple of KMs and we were right admist the rain forests! Ah..bliss at last. The road was amazingly smooth here with curves . It reminded me of the saying "If life throws you a curve, bend into it". Thats exactly what we were doing .

We finally reached Gundya after a stretch of 25 Kms. This was the start of Shiradi Ghats and we were now getting some awesome views around us . Sometimes, we indeed got the drizzle along the way. The roads were sometimes smooth and sometimes full with ditches. But none of them even "compared" to the roads we traversed yesterday, in Bisle ghats.

We were nearing the Sakaleshpura and it started raining heavily now. The visiblity came down a lot and we had to stop at a nearest coffee shop. As we were waiting for the rains to calm down, we were served with hot coffee, a much needed one .

After few minutes, we resumed our journey, Destination Manjarabad Fort, Sakaleshpura.

Day Two, Location: Manjarabad Fort, Sakaleshpura

The last few KMs of the Shiradi Ghats were completely gone, with big potholes, sometimes in the middle of the road, sometimes on the edges. On top of that, huge tankers were on their way, slowly. It had started to rain again, and since there was actually no shed anywhere now, where we can stop and wait for the rains to stop, we continued our journey through the broken roads. After a few KMs, we hit one big traffic jam. The reason for the jam was a huge truck carrying logs of wood (and seemed to be overloaded) getting stuck in the inclined road, and that too it was position at the middle of the road. The courageous driver of the truck was trying to his to pull out his truck with full acceleration and that was making the truck jump up and down. The cars and buses were waiting since quite some time now, but now realizing the truck can not do anything soon, the people decided to move slowly. All of us made our way around the truck that was stuck, with me able to get few clicks of how bad the situation for the truck was.

The road had widened up now and the quality had become a lot better. It was a delight now to ride on this stretch with drizzle and cold winds. We stopped at one big and long curve to click few pictures.

We finally reached at the Manjarabad fort turning. There was a steep slope to the fort stairs and it was full of mud. We were seeing people going up on foot but it looked to us that bikes could go on this road. The second the thought came, we knew we would do it . It was an interesting 5 minutes for us as my bike got stuck in the mud and it took some time for me to get out of it . The aftereffect of the climb was mud on our bikes, our clothes.

As we reached the fort, we were baffled by it's beauty! . It was all dense fog around this fort and that made the fort even more beautiful. I would not spend more time talking about this fort but I would let the pictures do the necessary talking because anything I say would not explain the beauty of this fort for sure. One thing for sure, this place was totally worth visiting, even when we were completely drenched and we were having severe body pains already.

After spending 1 good hour at the fort, we realized that it was already past 03:00 PM and we did not even have lunch. We were starting to get hungry now and so we decided that we would gradually make our move.

We stopped at a dhaba nearby, had some good food and started towards Bengaluru. It was growing dark already so there was no point stopping anywhere else, but directly aim for Bengaluru as soon as we can.

Day Two, Location: Silk Board, Bengaluru

By the time we reached our finishing line, it was 09:00 PM and we were all dried up by then. Pulled our bikes, exchanged some light jokes and clapped each other for finishing this awesome journey, in one piece. Me, especially was pretty happy because it all went as I wanted it to be, and it was a test of me as well, as a TOURER.

                            Until next time fellas.

                            THE END
