How was your experience with food?
For many years now I've wanted to ride to BBSR, because that's where I did my college. But the 4 lane highways have kept this plan at bay for a long time now. Someday maybe ... !!

This reminded me of a similar conversation from about 6 years ago with my mom -
Me : I have 2 weeks off, I'm coming home
Mom : Awesome, booked flight tickets or coming train?
Me : No, I'm coming by road
Mom : Ok, what time will the bus reach? Last time you said 18hrs sitting in the bus was very uncomfortable
Me : Yea well!! hmmm!! errmm!!! .... I'm not coming by bus
Mom : How are you coming by road ?
Me : .....<silence> ........ Bike........ <silence>
Mom : @$#$%^&* ....... @#$%^&* .... @#$%^&* .... You are not coming on bike !!
Me : You have two options, either I tell you the truth that I'm coming on bike or I lie to you and tell you that I am coming in XYZ and still come by bike!!
Mom : <Silence for 2 whole minutes>
Mom : Ok, come safely, keep updating us
Me : *Victory dance*

Good food was available only in Orissa, if you know what I mean.

if 26th was not considered the most unlucky day for me and my FRENCH boss approved my leaves i would have been a part of this tlog at least till Vishakapatnam...
i too would have gotten to see my sis who just returned from US as a surprise

It is amazing to think how easy it is to feel a resemblance on the number of occasions I have had this conversation. Too many times, right from my first 200kms ride to even the long rides now a days, a never ending process..!! haha...
