That dhabha had nothing much to offer in food but this kettle gave it that typical dhabha feeling. The kettle in itself is a story (as per me)

Riding Day 2 : Jalori To Hotel

After clicking some photos at Jalori Pass we were actually thinking that we could have easily did Narkanda-Kullu-Delhi , but honestly none of us thought of this. So we decided to move back to hotel with the treacherous steep that we had to cover while coming down from Jalori.
Samrat was experiencing pain in his wrist so he was riding little slow. I again found that I am comfortable doing off roading in standing position. Although a single mistake meant a fall in the ditch which goes where, no one knew
We took some breaks as soon as the bad patch was left behind and again moved forward. There was a time when I rode for few kms alone as all these 373cc, 223cc and 200cc were fast on straights :P . But I loved riding alone too as I could easily enjoy the scenery to my heart's extent.
It was pre-decided that we will meet at Narkanda petrol pump. We all met at around 5.30pm. And still deciding whether we could reach Hatu at Sunset time or not?
At last the hotel owner said that by the time we would reach it would be all dark and there was no point going there now.
So we ventured and found a skiing slope (works only in winters) and decided to come there at night to click star trails again. But some nice police officials scared us by saying that it might be dangerous as bears are quite frequent there.
After having our dinner at "evening". We planned to leave for Hatu Peak early morning aroun 4.30a.m to cover the beautiful Sunrise.

There's very little chance that I'll ever visit those places. Pictures like these literally takes me to that very place. I hope many people going through XBHP(not only members) finds the same. There are some very good travel logs along with beautiful photography in XBHP which quenches a biker's thirst!!

Day 3 Riding : Hotel to Hatu

As planned we all woke up by 4a.m only to find that it was freezing cold outside and we have to ride till the height of 10500feet. Yes Hatu Peak is just 10kms away from Narkanda which is at 8600feet.
One can imagine the steep we need to cover to reach there. That too in dark and through a road which was wide enough to accomodate just two bikes in a single go and with a drop of around 800feet in the ditch if something goes wrong. We four started at aroun 4.30am and reached well before the Sunrise , only to find that there we have only one temple and one lonely, vacant and closed cottage.
We parked our bikes and took our cameras and tripods for these pics.

Spoiler alert, next set of pics are going to be all HDRs
