There are some of us who have suddenly got burdened with software deployments this month (speaking for KA IT folk) and hance we're not able to read through threads throughly. I do read all logs at night once I reach home though.

Marking a few people who I'm sure have missed the thread due to some reason. @plasmabhai, @jeevan.life, @SuvraGanguly - guys, we can get some photuuuugrapheeee tips from here.

          EXIF data please!
30 sec is the max I can do, but I feel the sky may become white-ish!
I was using remote. But if one is actually serious about star trails they need intervelometer remote.
          Exif :
          F14
          ISO 100
          50mm
          Shutter 439seconds.

                Sure.
Tilt Shift is nothing but to tilt(w.r.t to lens) the focus on a particular area in the image in such a way that the subject (people/object/architecture) looks like a miniature.
Normally this is done by keeping the camera at higher ground than the subject and then using PS to give the desired effect.

For example this pic originally has real people and cars and withouth the effect would look like a normal pic. But after the effect if you could see, these look like miniatures /scaled/ lego cars and people.

Kudos folks!!!! A pat on the back for the visual treat and thanks for sharing. Truly India is a beautiful country. God bless you folks for giving us such an inspiration to dream more.

And one more pic worth mentioning is by Rahul i guess. The Barbed wire pic with the sunrays. Oh Boy!!!! Fell in love with it instantly.
Glad you are loving it and in someway feel inspired . that was the main purpose of our Photo ride to get some spell bounding shots and my fellow photographers have captured them quite well . indeed India is Beautiful we just need to venture new lands with imaginative eye i guess. thanks for liking and enjoying my barbed wire picture. more shots coming soon.

                      Day2 Riding Narkanda - Jalori

After filling our "not so small" tummy we moved towards Jalori Pass. To reach there we need to cross Rampur roads which is a winding hill road stretch of aroun 25kms with awesome tarmac. Ia already informed others to control their wrists on this road as its so tempting. I myself felt it when I did Spiti. As we were moving, we witness a carcass of a cow and so called extinct vultures feeding on it. And we made that stop as our photography stop (yeah we are that crazy). After clicking for almost an hour we moved forward. We took small breaks for water and butt break till we reached Jalori

Now some g.k about it. It is at 10800feet and falls under Kullu District and is the first pass that is opens every year.
And the reason for it being on every tourer's list is because of its steep climb. One can barely go over first gear and 15-20kmph to cross it. And yes we all did in the same speed. Its actually tough to do it continuously specially the last 2 kms. I preferred doing it standing on the foot pegs just like motocross riders.
We reached the Pass at aroun 12 noon, had some maggi and tea. Clicked the mesmerizing view from there and started our ride back to Narkanda with one hope of clicking Sunset from Hatu peak.
