Nice one lover buoy! Just one word of caution, avoid soft drinks while on a long ride. Also, don't risk your body by not eating and staying alive only on aerated drinks.

By not eating anything, body would become weak and so would be our reflexes. But any specific reason for avoiding soft-drinks ?

          Ride safe and have fun.

Contrary to popular perception, soft drinks dehydrate your body faster.

I didn't drink it for hydration purpose I had soft drinks only for the energy they contain.. the amount of calories they contain can keep a person energetic.. however on my return, i purchased Glucose and every time I took a break, I used to get water, mix Glucose and drink it

Gastric acid has adverse effect on empty stomach esp when you drink caffeine based drinks on top. Caffeine stimulates acid secretion hence causing gastric mucosa depletion in empty stomach, invitation to more troubles.

I guess mommy's roti/chapati-parcel is so better than caffeine drinks(bottled) & sugar candies.

                                sorry for the Long Wait

My Fiance had come here and surprised me she and her parents along with my parents had planned to surprise me.. and I was surprised too and hence spent time with my family

Nagpur was just 176 kms and the road was fantastic.. I was thirsty and I wanted to have some cold water.. so I was on a look out for some small stalls and not even a single shop for the next 20 kms.. finally found a small store and they didn't have cold water, instead they only had soft drinks.. so I purchased and cooled myself and then had some water to keep me hydrated.. I started off again and straight roads were a bit boring for me now.. I wanted some fun and damn none till the four lane 2 way traffic road converged to a 2 lane single traffic road.. that's when the fun started.. I looked a head and wow.. curves... I started leaning over every curve possible at decent speeds (owing a Karizma/ZMR for the past 11 years so I have more than enough confidence in taking a good knee down) then I look ahead and the roads split to 2 way traffic again and the roads were boring again.. again the curvy single traffic roads appeared and after going forward a few kms, I was riding over hills.. It was a pleasant ride.. curvy hill roads with all the trees and rocks on your sides.. I wanted to stop by and click some pics but heck, no time for it.. so I went forward a little more and the roads became from almost perfect to a little below better..

Potholes here and there and then I realized I was riding in a forest.. I wanted to know the location and the time was already 1:30 PM.. I was just some 60 kms from Nagpur and so I thought to have lunch or go into an A/C restaurant, order something to eat and take some rest til the time hits 2:30 PM thinking I can reach Nagpur by 4 PM.. I just couldnt find any A/C restaurant so I decided to go till Nagpur and have lunch over there when getting the Engine Oil changed.. Also I had almost an hour and a half to cover 60 kms so I thought I will just stop under a tree and let the bike rest for some time and click some silly pics of my Black Pearl

well, let me tell you guys the truth.. I was just clicking pics and I suddenly heard some creepy noise from the bushes.. I got scared and I Escaped frm that spot ASAP

The roads were not in a good shape, however the nature made me feel perfectly normal and I loved the feel of fresh air... the time was nearly 3 and I was closing up on Nagpur and I was happy that I will reach Nagpur well before the target time

I finally reached the Nagpur and I entered into the City... Not too deep, but a little inside.. I stopped by the Sikanji wala and asked him to make me a Lemonade without adding masala to it with lots and lots of ice.. asked him to make me 3 glasses and yummy it was then I asked him for a nearby A/C restaurant and he suggested I go in a little more and I will find lots of restaurants.. my priority was to get the Engine Oil changed first and so I was looking out for a decent mechanic.. in a traffic signal, 2 guys in an activa stared at my Black Pearl and started asking me crazy questions like if I am going for a race or going for a long tour to test the performance of the bike or whether I am going advertising the bike blah blah.. I said just touring for fun and they said the route Hyderabad is on the opposite direction of where I was travelling for which I replied I am searching for a mechanic.. they said Hero Service center is just nearby and I can get it done there.. and so I went there forgetting the procedure of entering the customer and vehicle details in their system.. Thinking I can leave by 4:30 PM I was like ok and after all the formalities were done, they took the bike inside for oil change.. and guess what?? I totally forgot it was time for me to speak with my fiance I took out my mobile and found 10 missed calls from her number and Well, you guessed it wrong no, she wasn't angry with me.. she just asked if i was busy and I said yes, I had client meeting and i had kept the mobile in silent and sorry for not informing she was understanding and I spoke with her for a good half an hour while my bike was getting checked up.. I asked them to do a Minor check up... and so the check up and oil change was done. I went to the cash register and gave them the slip and asked how much I had to pay for which she said please wait.. I waited for like 10 minutes and the lady finally after testing my level of patience said that would be 300/- I asked if they accept Credit Card and she said No.. I gave her the cash and it took her another 5 minutes of my valuable time to print the Gate Pass.. when I checked, the time was 5:15 PM and I had to load the bag on the saddle, wear all the gears and phew by the time I am done doing all this, the time was 5:20 PM.. I checked the Trip meter and it showed 1002 kms from Indirapuram and damn, I checked the fuel indicator. It showed half tank and it was time for me to fill up the tank.. I had to look for a fuel station where they accept Credit cards after a hunt for more than 10 mins, I finally found one and filled up the tank.. the time was 5:45 and i had some 4 hrs of travel for the day and at max I can ride for another 5 hours.. Hyderabad is around 500 kms from Nagpur and I thought I can munch up as much kms as possible and I sat on the saddle and started riding..

my saddle was paining a little, however I was able to manage

thinking in 5 hours I can complete 350 kms at-least, I started riding.. hit the NH-7 and was riding at a decent 90 kmph mark.. some crazy things were running in my mind.. should I ride till Chennai/Bangalore over the night.. i will have to cover some 1200 kms to reach Chennai/Bangalore.. will I make it? what if something wrong happens? what if I fall asleep while riding?? crazy mind i have got..

I crossed some 20 kms and i see a guy asking me to stop.. well, his bike was parked on the side and he was with a pillion.. I checked the RVMs to look out for any speeding vehicles before applying brakes.. it was clear for me to apply sudden brakes, I stopped and they came pushing their bike towards me.. they asked for fuel and I said this bike doesn't have the fuel knob to pull out fuel, so I can tow you guys to the nearest Fuel Station.. they said alright and I towed them for some 700m.. the guy behind the handlebars said thanks as he saw some guys who they knew.. I showed a thumbs up and i picked up speed.. finally after crossing 70 kms from Nagpur, I saw direction board asking me to turn to the right to hit Hyderabad I was just too happy to see that Hyderabad is nearing

I took the turn and the road was pretty small and not so good.. though that lasted for just 5 kms and then the highways were perfect again.. due to some road work in progress, the road was diverted below the bridge under construction and I had to wait for almost 10 mins (stuck in railway gate) and by the time I crossed the railway gate, the time was already 7 PM leaving me with just 3-4hrs of ride left for the day and now with less hope of crossing even 250 kms as it is getting dark.. even then I didn't give up and I started riding.. the roads got narrow and narrow and phew.. at one point of time, the roads were filled with potholes.. well, rather the potholes had some roads on them and as i moved another 3 kms, there were no roads.. worst roads i faced till date.. I asked the truck wala how long the roads will be this good (sarcastically) and they said for another 60 kms at-least and in between the roads will be good..

it was more like and Off-road which I did that day.. the clock was ticking fast which was being raced by my heart beat to add to this, there was no light.. the roads were intermittently good and bad (more of bad roads) which spoiled my mood and nearly got me killed.. I picked up speed every time the road was decently laid and by then there were diversions to the no-road road..

Well, this was the condition of the roads.. I just stopped by a road side dhaba and had 2 omlets and spoke with my fiance. The time was already 8:45 PM and I have only crossed 50 kms till now in the last 1hr and 45 mins.. i was simply too tired riding in this road condition and I almost fell asleep while riding.. so I decided to ask someone where I will get a decent Hotel room to sleep over the night and I was guided to stay over at Adilabad, Telangana. I also asked how far is it and for how long will the road be this horrible, they said another 5 kms.. i finally reached Adilabad safe and sound at 9:25 PM.. got an A/C room and phew I slept for the day after speaking with my fiance for some 20 mins..

My Trip meter read 1245 kms... I completed 910 kms today in 16 hrs.. a tiring day it was

I decided to sleep and wake up at 4:30 AM and leave by 5 AM so that I can cover as much as possible when there is no sun so that the engine won't heat up much
