Day 1 - Yercaud.
Since I come from Dollar's Colony and Shashank from Whitefield, we set our meeting point on the Elevated Expressway in Electronic City at 0500 hours. Fancy names right?

I reached the meeting point by 0445 and waited for Shank. He arrived on time.
Pleasantries exchanged we moved on! Morning air was a bit nippy and I was loving it. There was mild truck traffic but that was easily managed.
Only gripe about riding in cold weather is the number of impromptu pee stops.

Finally at about 0630, something magical happened.
We took some time to absorb it and decided to move forward. In about 10 minutes time, we had to stop for this!
It was an awesome moment. One of the most beautiful sunrise moments for me so far.
Learnt a few camera modes and techniques while taking this shot from Shank, who is into photography by profession.
From here, it was a continuous ride till Krishnagiri where we stopped at a dhaba for tea.
The banner had me in splits.
Pandi dhaba.

Shashank was having a ball clicking pics of the dhaba and he looked happy and mesmerized like a 12 year old!
Few hours later of non stop riding and well, a dozen pee breaks as break points, we reached Salem and hit Yercaud's base.
At the foot hills.
I made ample use of my action cam this trip.
We knew that @nelson_sanjoy was here courtesy xBhp BLR's whatsapp group and we had a mini G2G at his place of stay.
After having spent half an hour with Sanjoy da and his family, we headed towards the park and saw a few species in action.
We were hungry already. But there was a problem. Shank had to visit a loo soon. Still, we thought of getting a few things ticked off the itinerary first.
Headed to perfume paradise and got a few bottle for us. 100 rupees a piece is pure bargain for what you get!
Thereafter, we headed to Shevaroy hills.
This by far is my favorite place in Yercaud.
Mesmerized by the serene air, moreover compounded by his Delhi belly, Shank started threatening me of dire consequences. We descended back and visited Hotel Waterfront which had good amenities. After emptying and refilling our stomachs, we headed back to the evening madness of Bangalore.
Both of us had nasty scares on the way, but it was a day to remember. It was already almost 10 PM by the time I reached. Slept early as we had another destination for the next day!
