Yup. xBhp servers are duplicating pics.

Thanks for the likes guys. Sorry for the delay but my broadband is down. Will try again in some time.

            Re: Home run!

NOTE: Pics appear small because they have been salvaged from Tapatalk since xBhp servers are having issues and original pics got broken.

As they say, "Sex is not the answer, sex is the question. Yes is an answer!"

So, going home was decided, to do it on 2 wheels was the decision our hero had made. He thought he wanted a career, but in time he realized he only wanted the paychecks.
Hence, the journey would begin as soon as the year end pay was debited into his account. That is April 1st!

The route was meticulously planned (which didn't really work out on the last day of 1st leg, as we'd see further) as:

Bangalore - Kolar - Chittoor - Tirupati - Nellore - Ongole - Vijayawada - Rajahmundry (night halt, thanks to @frankpilli sir),
            Rajahmundry - Vizag bypass/Anakapalle - Srikakulam - Ichchapuram - Behrampur - Bhubaneshwar - Cuttack (night halt, thanks @Bibhu bhai),
Cuttack - Bhadrak - Balasore - Kharagpur - Bankura - Purulia bypass - Bokaro (home, thanks for this route @hondaCBF)

Sincere thanks to @VIJAY BHUYAN88 for the company till Narasapura on day 1.

Kolar stretch is a live dog/dead dog corridor. Hence speeds must be kept in check.

Our hero started from home at 3ish AM after loading all the luggage on his bike. He passes sincere thanks to @plasmabhai for the genius idea of putting saddlebags. The idea worked flawlessly.

Somewhere in the morning after crossing Tirupati could he see some light and decided to stop for pics. Pics are taken from mobile + SLR.

He decides to sip his Electral + water mix (consumed 22 packs in the whole trip) and surge ahead. The idea was to hit the highway ASAP!

But then what is the hurry when riding solo. He took butt breaks every 60-80 min. Every butt break was in excess of 15 min courtesy the heat. Cams came out in a jiffy all the time.

Best 600 rupees spent on glasses. May look odd to some, but does a good job in reality.

Soon, straight roads arrived! Nellore was approaching thick and fast. State highways were left behind and he still had 550 km to do for the day. It was 10 AM.
He thought he should ride faster. Took out his phone to call his family and ended talking for half an hour!

The journey continued. Ongole was approaching at a leisurely pace when he saw a man merrily singing while walking. Though he got conscious on camera.

Stomach was burbling and cursing our guy for it had had only ORS solutions since morning. It needed food. Food options were severely limited and the protagonist had to make do with curd rice. Not that he hates it, but it would induce sleep was the fear.

Some time ahead nearing Vijayawada, his bike decides to start with tantrum #1. The bar end weight somehow broke and flew off. There is an allen screw that simply sheared off while travelling on rough roads. He realized it a few km late. Searching was futile.

Now, with a Karizma vibrating like Howard Stern's; our rider was aghast! But he had to make do with it and hope that his hometown would have the necessary spare.

Vijayawada was crossed at 5 PM and the last 200 km were torturous. With night falling, there were bad patches and high beams and insects. He was riding with his visor open due to oncoming high beams but insects were having a gala time aiming for his eyes.

            Just before sunset.

            6:30 PM saw sunset.

@frankpilli sir was notified about the progress and he guided about what where and when. After 4 hours of treacherous last leg, Rajahmundry was arrived at at 10:25 PM!
Best wishes to Frank sir for his gratitude that he extends to any traveler. This was the condition at the end of day 1!

Damn! Bad luck for me. xBhp is having severe issues. I have reported the same to super mods. I'll be out of town for the weekend starting 5 PM today, hence you guys will have to wait for the correction till Monday.

I have uploaded them again (will appear small in size though!).
Top speed I touched was 99-100 kmph IIRC. I hardly crossed 95. 85-90 was maintained when fresh and 75 odd when tired.
