Everything was set and planned just two days before the ride for White Spiti again but didn't know that god has different plans for us.I was keeping the constant watch on the Spiti route which was getting worse day by day due to heavy rains and landslides.Got the updates that most of the route is washed out between Powari to Spellow.Although I have been there number of times but didn't want to take the risk of getting stuck as the conditions were really bad.Ali was asking me to do a cross country ride from a long time and that's where the idea came.I gathered information about the Nepal and came to know the place Mustang (offroaders and trekkers paradise).
Mustang District is a part of Dhaulagiri Zone, one of the seventy-five districts of Nepal, a landlocked country of South Asia. The district, with Jomsom as its headquarters, covers an area of 3,573 km and has a population (2001) of 14,981.
The district straddles the Himalayas and extends northward onto the Tibetan plateau. Upper Mustang, the former Lo Kingdom comprises the northern two-thirds of the district. This kingdom was a dependency of the Kingdom of Nepal but was abolished by the republican Government of Nepal on October 7, 2008.

In addition to trekking routes through the Lo Kingdom ("Upper Mustang") and along the Annapurna Circuit in lower Mustang, the district is famous for the springs and village of Muktinath (a popular Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage site), apples, and Marpha brandy. Mustang was a lost kingdom of Tibet where traditions may remain more Tibetan than in Tibet proper following its annexation by China.
Permit Fee of Upper Mustang For the first 10 days per person US $500 and After 10 days per day Us$50 was too much for us to afford and we had to settle our itch with the lower mustang which comes in Annapurna circuit.

For me traveling is what I am living for and the passion is riding to different places, Exploring the culture, Food, And not to forget I love traveling in Himalayas. So why wait

                      Let's ride "YEE HAAW"

                            Bike : Pulser 220 Naked

15 APRIL DELHI TO MAHENDERNAGAR 350 KM

After a sleepless night, the big day began at 4.30 am with the morning rituals and I was on the road by the 5.30.Kalimata mandir chowk (Pankha Road ) was the meeting point for Nit and me.When he reached the meeting point, it was well past 6 am which was already quite late for us.We reached our second meeting point Moradabad Barelley expressway with one or two short chai breaks at 10 where Ali joined us.Roads were in fantastic conditions except some minor patches. The scorching sun above us was making us stop more often and we were trying hard to keep ourselves hydrated. But that's how most of the day went till 5 pm when we got some respite from the heat in the form of light drizzle at Sitar ganj.We moved ahead after filling up the tanks at sitar ganj and just ahead light drizzle turned into heavy rains.I had to quickly cover up my luggage and camera on the spot.Waited a little but decided to move on as the light was fading down drastically. It was completely dark when we just managed to sneak from the doors of Mahendernagar border. After crossing the border, we had to pay 80 RS per day per bike for the Bhansar ( Permits which you need for the traveling in Nepal ).We Paid 1120 INR/Bike for fourteen days which was quite enough to do Mustang and some part of Nepal on our bikes. To find a good hotel with parking was quite hard and that too in another country. After a lot of toiling at night, an army guy suggested a Hotel Opera which was the best option we got at that time.Settled for it and Paid 1600 NPR for the room with wi-fi.That's how the day ended in another country with riding on some of the most beautiful roads I have ever ridden.
The route we covered on first day

                            First break

                            Bridge en route to Moradabad

                            2nd break

                            Butter smooth roads

And we reached Moradabad barelley expressway

                            Photography in between

Took a long break here to shoot some photographs on this lovely location

Extended photo session for the machines

Enough of this ...we move ahead

                            Greatt roads to rode on

Journey was really awesome through the woods

We reached Sitarganj at 5 pm

                            Saw wonderful Gobind Sagar lake

Took a halt here to admire the lake when sun was getting down

It went completely dark after this so no photographs when we crossed the border
