well apart from the punctures, didn't have any other major problems. the odo/trip and speedo stopped working around 813 kms into the trip. and the clutch needed a bit of adjustment at tanglang la on the way back. but this was due to my own fault.

here are two more pics. these have been taken by a guy who I met on the way. he was on a 2002 bullet electra.

first one has been taken 100 km from manali, day 1 of the trip ...

the second one was taken on day two of the trip. i met up with him again the next day, 12 km from sarchu.

this pic has been taken at sarchu, around 5:00-5:30 P.M. it was vey cold and windy. and i wasn't feeling too happy. it had been a long day, and the bike had a puncture, which after getting fixed, led to a ruptured inner tube lining. so i had like a big frown on my face. but with great difficulty i managed to smile and gave a thumbs up!

it's very good for long rides. very reliable. but then again, reliability depends on how well you maintain your bike. 3400 kms in the toughest terrain. she's covered over 20k as of now. and still runs like new. still maxes out at the same top speed she used to when she was new.

the only draw back is the seat and the seating position. full marks for everything else.
