Just before touching the kerala


well dear friends, i guess i can start writing a bit about our trip. Though no time at all ...but everything is part of life..need to manage
So the main reason to choose the destination kerala is

Trust me friends, one of the most beautiful and memorable ride it was..lots to say ....Fun started from my room

Day 1:
Starting point: Johns house.

The D day had arrived and all of us had made all sort of preparations. Tank bags, saddle bags, new camera's ,extra memory cards, new headlights , new gear , Clean bikes.. ,bungee chords, extra oil, pumps tool kits and no to forget some special stickers..
john even went to the extent of buying a 1Kg packet of surf excel.. (:hihihi: totally another story )


Time is 12:45 am and we decide to head down to our bikes to saddle up!
Praful came is at the exact same moment to wish us luck and share some of his Leh gyaan..:P and bless us.


We start at 1 am ,but wait..! we are not doing our trip yet..!:no: we head on down to johns office. he had some last minute work to be done. We met his boss and colleges (who i honestly think were a little overwhelmed seeing 5 of us in full gear.. imagine.. 1 am - 5 bikes fully loaded- gloves - jackets -knee pads -helmets -tankpads.. :weg

They were happy to see us and provided us with the tea they had promised. ( thanks guys.. )

Soon we were on the way and to catch up on some lost time we decided that next stop would be only at Maddur CCD.

Time now: 3 am


After fueling our stomachs and some coffee later and ofcourse some slight birdwatching.. pack up and decide to move.. Next stop mysore we thought, but.. the cold air blowing at us and high beams in the eyes soon had us stopping us for tea .Eric treated us with some chocolates and Atul indulged in the "dog , step and bun game" .

On the road and we were cruising at about 70 -90k's and soon we were welcomed by the beautiful town of mysore.

Time Now :5:20 a,
With Niranjan leading we went right through this city which never ceases to amaze and stopped at one of the side views of the palace. We indulge in some photography.



Next we stop at the main front view of the palace again we could not resist for some shots .


soon we realized we were waaaaaay behind schedule and pack up deciding that we have some catching up on time to do.

exiting Mysore towards Gundulpet we stop for pee break and this is what happens..

Time now : 6:10 am

Relaxed and relieved we start off only to get stopped by something really interesting. Couple of abandoned train cabs on parallel bridge to the one on which we were.
