Wow, awesome trip guys and awesome pictures. Avin, well shot pictures. You always need a photographer in a trip. The pictures with the locomotive are awesome! Keep it going.

Hmm..Pictures tells the amount of fun you guys had..and i am too surprised about the 3 am bird watching thingy(must have been real birds)..considering my option to shift Bangyy.

The story so far..

Time now: 7:25 am

We arrive at Gundulpet CCD. Some of had some urgent downloading to do.:hihihi:..



Relaxing on the plush soft couch at the CCD the only thing we felt was that a wooden plank would be better than a pulsar seat.

Enjoying the early morning cuppa we suddenly see another set of bikers. Two to be exact. one look and we know for sure its one of us and seeing the bikes parked at CCD even they felt the need to check who it was, and off they came it was Satish and Sudhi on their P200's heading on towards Ooty.
Chit chat and we decide they we will ride together till the separation of ooty and Calicut, but not before we have group breakfast at a more economical place. Break fast at CCD ! not happening .. it digs into the petrol money.

So we stop at Pathans International..

At the restaurant i tell everybody a huge secret.. I'm superman.. !!



Ton's of Hot poori's and steaming dosa's we are on the move again. Plagued by some bad roads we were craving for the couches at CCD and then finally the roads become decent . Having planned to make a ride a video (courtesy HD cam from Niranjan :weg He goes forward and waits for us and takes a couple riding videos.
John also decides to take some riding shots and goes ahead.





Soon we enter Bandipur forest . The roads were now butter smooth and with thick forest on both sides we felt were at the alps. You really dont feel like ripping, just a cruise all day in this kinda place, we were on the watch out for animals all the time.


The moment we entered bandipur we saw deer all over the place. We immediately stop and capture them.

Time now:10:10 am and we were at the Karnataka / TN border and couple of cops awaited us.



A elaborate(yawn) document checking later we were now in Mudumalai forest a.k.a Bandipur forest in Karnataka.

Soon we came to the diversion of Ooty and Calicut and bid adieu to Satish and Sudhi.
We were now welcomed by good roads and from here on we kinda decided we do some serious riding and catch on some lost time. ( again.. )
But with the kind of views i HAD to stop.

Now with exhaustion slowly creeping in we really wanted to reach the destination asap. Now we were welcomed with some amazing roads, and thanks to Nijish who gave us the route with the maximum curves with freshly laid tar we had some amazing fun , we were totaly in a fix should we take snaps of the place or should we just go knee down on and on , on this beautiful curves.



We cool of at a freshwater stream and MAN was it good !

After this cooling off stop there was no stopping us we had to tackle the curves and boy oh boy was it fun.!

Time now:12:30pm

soon we hit the kerala border and stopped at a bakery for directions but mainly to compare tyre wear from the curves.. :P

Now after getting directions from some really helpful locals, and we were off and thought next stop would be only at Calicut , by exhuastion got better of all of us and we stopped at a KTDC rest house for lunch and power naps..

catching up on some sleep and feeling much better we come out of the hotel and wait for john who now needed to relieve some pressure :P (courtesy heavy lunch ) and while waiting for him we indulge in some nice time pass.
Lets practice panning shots we thought.. ! and thats what we did..

With john de-pressurized we are back on the road but soon enough lack of proper sleep was taking its toll on atul and we had to stop at a tea shop.

But it got a little crazy there. In all the times we have toured we are used to people gathering around the bikes but this time we were quite surprised .! Some guys were calling up their friends up on their phones and telling them to come and soon enough we had quite a big crowd and we were feeling quite uncomfortable ,




there was even a drunk guy talking to Niranjan thinking we had come for some ad shoot out and was telling his old war story and showing him bullet wounds on his leg. NIranjan quite nicely recorded him on video.. will post the video soon..

Time now: 3:55 pm

We had to leave that place asap.. and we did .. now we were riding like possessed people .. safe.. but fast..!



We soon reach near the pick up spot , The Calicut Medical College junction.

Nijish comes and takes us to his house to introduce us to his parents.

Time now: 5:20 pm

we meet his parents who are really warm and welcome and treat us to nice hot tea.
Sleepy, exhausted and butt sore we really needed some rest. Nijish then escorts us to the hotel and we immediately freshen up . I doze off for about an hour and woke up for dinner and some special liquids.. .. we had an elaborate dinner and a special show from john ,which had us on the floor laughing. No pics and videos for this section of the story

No man..we just didnt want to stop its was soo good and deserted we just went on and on...
yup it was the longer route..

DAY 2

Its day 2 ,Sunday the 25th . and its a good 9 am by the time we are all up..
and we had strict orders from Nijish to be at his house by 10 am and we were well for a change really early and were there by 9:45 itself. .

Nijish was busy with his own photoshoots..


and we were directly lead inside by Nijish's father for breakfast and seeing us ( superman with other bikers.. hoo humm.. :weg: ) the camera crew where after us..



Atul even offered Nijish his 220's keys as a last chance to escape..



The time was now 10:20 and it we had to leave towards the 'Ladki walon ka Ghar' (Girls house) and Nijish boarded the grey Santro and we gave the groom to be a proper biker escort.







exactly at 11:05 am we were at the house and as we entered the lane in typical traditional style we were welcomed as you can see below..



At 11:33 am as per Muhurtham the rings were exchanged

Lunch was next on the agenda and yes in typical kerala style it was AMAZING..!



Time now close to 1 pm and all the function had taken place beautifully and we were ready to move. Couple of last poser shots for our fans..

We head on back to Nijishs house and from there back to the hotel room where i quickly get out of the shirt.. phew.. and now.. having a lot of time we decide to hit the beach..!! and the real fun begins..!
