Congrats once again, but I have a quiery for you....I believe you completed the ride on your R15......please tell me how did the bike react after the speed run of yours. Did you have to repair/replace anything after 24 hours of speed run. (or you just had to do a usual service)

Please confirm as I am planning to grab a R15 and intend to do a lot of Inter State speed runs on it. Cheers

Well the bike performed flawlessly through out the ride and she still is quite smooth.

As you know now, I completed my ride on 5th Feb '10. A high rev 1700 kms journey. And today it's 24th Feb '10. Believe me, I haven't got my bike serviced yet and she's doing just fine. No probs at all.

The only 2 differences that I had noticed were the chain had become a bit lose may be because of the beating that she got on that bad patch of road and the second thing was I felt the gears a bit hard.. just a bit, when I rode my bike for the first time after the ride. But may be that was just me, because I had left my bike with Ajinkya(id: Ajinkya) for a day and he said the bike is butter smooth no probs with the gears at all.

I had gone to the service center after the ride for full servicing but the SS was overloaded with work so my service got postponed. I had an appointment for service today at 9:30 am but I couldn't go due to work Planning to do the regular service very soon as I dont find any other special problem in the bike.

The only thing I immediately got repaired was the chain setting. I got the chain adjusted the very next day of the ride and she's running fine till now

So when's the certificate arriving?

Well as per the site it takes them min 2-3 months for verification(at times even more than that) as all the IBA volunteers are full time employeed So it'll definitely take some time

Fabulous stuff man!!! An awesome effort inspite of the ear bleeding and the accompanying horror. On my wish list is one such ride for the joy of it. Hats off to you!! Hope you get the certificate soon. Congratulations again

Forget the ride, it must have been an awesome feeling to lay down on your bed after the ride ! Lol. Hats of to you, i guess you must be thinking of the next saddlesore already, goodluck in advance.
