Re: 3-4 Day Getaways from Delhi
Mik - Is there any destination, where we can get ice, we can go anywhere in 4-5 days?

Re: 3-4 Day Getaways from Delhi
4/5 days are enough. However, not too sure about snow in October unless there is fresh snowfall. I had gone in May and it was blocked because of snow. Yogesh Sarkar (bcmtouring) has a travelog on Sach pass which he did in August. If I remember correctly, he didn't get any snow. Snow or no snow - Sach pass will always be challenging and super fun.Originally posted by itsmevini123 View PostHow about the Sach Pass guys, we three of us planning to go there in October, we want ice, ice and ice, I have seen lots of pics where we can seen ice only, is October a month to go there after the rainy season, would 4-5 days will be enough, has anyone done it?

I rode through the Sariska National park area on my motorcycle. But i doubt if a bike would be allowed into the core area of the park where animals are actually spotted. Though this will be quite a hot time of the year to go there.
Monk please tell me if i can take a motorcycle to pandupol in sariska national park

This route (SH 2) starts from Kumarhatti & goes towards Nahan.

Salient feature of SH 2
- Flawless surface & consistent in quality throughout.
- Very minimal traffic.
- Approx length 45 km. 75km total of which last 30 km is in under construction.
- Only small settlings along the route so no interruption in traffic speeds or flow.
- Perfect mix with right amount of tight turns, wide full throttle bends & straight stretches.
Please remember that the first 30km from Nahan side are still under construction & in Off road condition. So it’s advisable to turn back from about 5kms after Banahan Ki Ser , therefore practical access is only from Kumarhatti (NH22) as of now. Those road are really awesome to ride...Originally posted by Chacha Chaudhary View PostHere are some clicks of the above mentioned route
